After researching and taking a trial of Zoho Projects, it becomes apparent why the program is rated one of the top five online project management software systems. The program is packed with various applications that enable individuals and businesses to manage all their work while dramatically reducing the cost. Some of the unique features that make the Zoho prevalent over other similar programs are price, security, and mobility.
Zoho is a division of ZOHO Corporation, a US-based Company that has been creating and selling cutting edge software solutions since 1996. The company has tens of thousands of customers worldwide and is privately held and profitable. Zoho has four offices located in the United States, India, China, and Japan. Sridhar Vembu is the CEO of AdventNet, which owns Zoho. Zoho is a suite of online applications that you sign up for and access from our website. The applications are free for individuals though some have a subscription fee for organizations. Our vision is to provide our customers with the most comprehensive set of applications available anywhere and for those applications to have enough features to make your user experience worthwhile (site).
The most appealing feature that Zoho probably offers is their free version of the software that allows unlimited users working on one project at a time. Zoho also offers a premium addition for businesses that requires more than one project to be managed at one time. A couple different payment options are available for the premium service. Customers can choose to purchase the product monthly or yearly. Also, there are three different stages of the product that contain different features; express, premium, and enterprise. Express addition can be purchased for just $20 a month or $199 a year, Premium for $35 a month or $299 a year, and Enterprise for $80 a

...Proposal for Online Business Expansion for Author Stu Campbell Jeffrey N. Meads Western Governors University Proposal for Online Business Expansion for Author Stu Campbell A1. E-Commerce Solutions During the review of several top payment processing solutions, consideration was given to available options and features, setup costs, monthly costs, transaction costs, and ease of integration into the website and with the requisite customer relationship software solution. Google Checkout was eliminated from consideration because Google has announced that it will be discontinuing its checkout product after November 20th, 2013 (Google Support, 2013). The Authorize.net transaction gateway was eliminated from consideration because it would require the client to establish a separate merchant account (Authorize.Net, 2013). Our selection for a payment processing solution was the PayPal Website Payments Standard. Customers will be able to pay with either their PayPal account or with their Visa, American Express, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. The PayPal Website Payments Standard Integration Guide, pages 323-327, provides a method of using a web form to capture the billing information for each sale on the client's website in HTML input variables, and then pre-filling the PayPal payment form when the customer clicks the "submit payment" button. The payment information transmits to PayPal via the Website Payments Standard form. PayPal will return an Instant Payment...

...improve the accuracy and reliability of accounting information. Some issues that the president of the company would need to know if he goes public are the privacy of the company which would be a very important way to begin when dealing with internal controls. Internal control issues should be done in the business place and not in public places like in restaurants. It should not be talked to with any person, instead it should be discussed with people that are responsible for the control issues and have experience in that field. They should also have signed a contract, which assures that everything that has been discussed in the company should not be discussed with any other company or personnel. The President of LJB Company has requested a review and elevation of the internal control systems because of the company’s plan to go public. Because of this, I have gained access to information required to better service the company. The following are my findings and suggestions for adjustments. Facts/Findings The company should have separation of duties, in this case an accountant that deals as the Controller and Treasurer should not be dealing with more than one job to prevent fraud; since the accountant has been performing the purchases and pays for the supplies he has a greater chance to steal the products, or write himself a check. Another area that the company needs is proper authorization to better deal with petty cash and also to be able to purchase items with the petty cash...
