3 Goals Research Paper

“For every minute you are angry you lose sixty seconds of happiness” (Emerson). There are plenty of tangible goals that I have set for myself and will continue setting for myself. However, all of these goals funnel towards my primary goal which is to find happiness. Ultimately, happiness is what everyone strives for. In 1776, the founding fathers of the United States listed three unalienable rights that every living person has: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. I would argue that every action of ours is done in attempt to reach one of these three goals. For me the most important goal of the three is the pursuit of happiness. I have been given only one life to live so why not live a happy one. Regardless of what major I end up pursuing or what career field I find myself in I will have decided my path based on what will make me happy in the future. I know that choosing happiness as my primary goal seems very broad and vague. I chose this goal because as a senior in high school I do not have a plan for my life set in stone. I do have a general idea of what I want to do with my life, but if I discover something that will provide me with a happier life, I will not hesitate to switch up my plan. …show more content…
I could list everything I am planning to do such as go to college, get good grades, establish a family, etcetera. However, in order to achieve happiness, it is necessary to find yourself first. Every college student faces a ton of decisions and is loaded with responsibilities that they have never had before. I believe that as I face these tough decisions, and as I take on these responsibilities, I will be able to find myself. Not every decision I make will be the right decision, but throughout errors I will find what is right for me, and what will make me

...Running head: PROBLEM SOLUTION: GLOBAL COMMUNICATIONS Problem Solution: Global Communication Rona Brown University of Phoenix MPLB/500 David Rollins Problem Solution: Global Communications Global Communications feels the pressures of the industries with trying to keep up with its competitors and watching its stock prices fall. Yet the stockholders are giving them a lot of pressure to correct the problem. They need to offer better services than what their competitors are providing to their customers. This paper will discuss the background, the problem, the end goals, alternative solutions, risk assessment, the optimal solution, and lastly the implementation plan. Situation Background (Step 1) The total telecommunications industry has collapsed into hardship due to the Cable Companies inflowing the competition but Global Communications has been hit hard with not just the improved competition but smaller profit margins, the costs of doing business, and have realized that they need a new tactical plan, but will need help in implementing this. The problem is not actually noticeable, as one may think. It is easy to say that there is a substantial amount of competition and blame outside entities for their anguishes. In the long run, the real issue is GC's incompetence to successfully compete with new companies in the market (i.e. cable companies). Often this is the minor to a failure to discriminate their services from those of the competitors. It echoes as if their attempt...

Please note that there may be slight variations or specific requirements for you in your School or subject area. ...Best Snacks Problem Solution Course/Number Date Andre Boyer Best Snacks Problem Solution Best Snacks encounters many challenges that affect the creativity and innovation practices. This ranges source from individual and organizational learning, management practices and technology in creativity and innovation. Jones (2004) states, “Each design challenge has implications for how an organization as a whole and the people in the organization behave and perform.” (p. 115). This means that each area influences the direction of the organization and some of the difficulties that stifle a creative environment that lends itself to an innovative organization. Further, successfully overcoming challenges associated with a void in creativity consists of implementing a plan that address concerns highlighted by employees in the recent organizational survey. Creating a plan may source at the leadership level but the input sources from the employees because this is the identified area where creativity does not exist in the desired way. ...1. The first goal of DEPT. 199 is to teach you to locate, select, and document secondary source material relevant to your topic. What did you learn how to do that you didn’t know before about this kind of library/research work? Offer specific examples from work you completed as part of this class that demonstrates that you have achieved this goal. The most important thing I learned was that the library is so much more than a place to borrow books and study for midterms/finals. First, there is a librarian assigned to your major which is extremely helpful because they are like a mini expert on many of the topics you may need help on. Second, there are many databases with sources that are available online to Fisher students, which can help when doing any type of written submission for a class. Finally, I learned that Rochester has such a vast history that I knew absolutely nothing about before I stepped foot in the class. I used Kate Ross a few times to help locate additional sources for my project. I also used ProQuest extensively for newspaper articles I could use as sources, and I also used the State of Black Rochester book we had for class. 2. The second goal of DEPT 199 is to teach you how to analyze and incorporate research into your own argument, position, solution to a problem, or answer to a question. In what ways does your final research paper (the final draft) demonstrates your developing skill in connection with this goal? Point to specific...
