Three traits of a successful business person to me are to be persistence, organized, responsible. A business person should be persistent, even when there are obstacles to overcome. They consistently remain persistent and don’t give up. Quitting is not persistent. I will need to be persistent in my field because I will constantly be given new tasks and information that I will need to evaluate. Another trait I think is important to be a successful business person is to be organized. To me, unorganized people never seem to have any idea what is going to occur next. They have a hard time dealing with the present, and being unable to find something because of a lack of organization on the person’s part could potentially cause a failure for the business person. I want to be a CPA and having everything in order, everything in its proper place will help me with the career I’ve chosen. A third trait I feel all successful business people and adults should have is responsibility. Too many people today do not claim responsibility for their mistakes; they own want to be responsible for the success. If you are making excuses and not learning from your mistakes, by being responsible and accepting them, you won’t be able learn and grow from them. A simple math mistake in accounting should be able to show the person responsible what not to do the next time. Double check your work, and if the numbers are off, claim responsibility and learn from it. Making excuses for any job is not something a successful business person should do. These traits are just three that I feel are important to being a successful business person. Obviously there are more traits and other opinions of it, but I feel these particular three, to me, are extremely important to being a successful business person.
