Everyone has a favorite class, well, only if you kinda like school. I hate the homework but I enjoyed doing it during my favorite year, 5th grade! First, I had lots of fun during 5th grade. It’s like they made it easy for you. Heck, even the homework was easy even though I hate homework. From the beginning of school to the end of school, I enjoyed everything about it. But it wasn’t the writing or tests or homeworks that made me like 5th grade, it was the field trips and friends that brings it home for me (figuratively speaking)! There were all kinds of field trips that were educational, fun, and even adventures. Also all kinds of friends like old friends, new friends, old teachers, and new teachers that all helped me through 5th grade. So today, …show more content…
But my most favorite was Skate City. The bus ride was far away but I didn’t mind because I sat in the back and that means bumps on the road. I can see the building in the distance. We all were walking into the building. We instantly heard music turning on. We could also request some other sounds or musics if we liked. We all instantly rushed to the ring and grabbed our skates to go practice all day. A few hours have passed and some kids and teachers were starting to get hungry and went to the food counter. There, I can smell delicious foods that the kids are asking so I went there for myself. Then, I remembered my mom giving me some money to go buy food. So I ended up buying 1 pizza, 1 drink, and one cotton candy. The drink and pizza tasted really good when it was just made so that was great. So then I still have some money so I went and buy cotton candy. Next, the moment that really made 5th grade and this field trip was the scare that happened to me. So I was skating, starting to get the hang of it, hanging out with my friends and talking. But then, one of my best friend tried to scare me, it work, that moment, I can feel all the bones inside of me gets

Does he build a strong case? | The authors of this journal article purpose was to examine and explore the trend within the United States towards social studies in elementary school (Kindergarten through 5th Grade) and how it has become marginalized. The authors compare social studies marginalization to the stronger emphasis placed upon reading, mathematics, language arts, and science. The authors of the article suggest that there is a trend in elementary schools is to give little to no social studies instruction within the primary grades (Kindergarten-2nd Grade) and then progress the amount of instruction in the intermediate grades (3rd Grade-5th Grade). The authors build a strong argument based on the amount of time spent instructing elementary school students in social studies in comparison to junior high school and high school students. ...Guidelines for the ECON 411W Term Paper Each student is expected to write a term paper on a topic relevant to the course, but of your choosing. Each of you should chose a topic and submit the idea by October 5th for my approval. In your proposal, you should describe to me what you plan to write about and why. You must (and this is important) provide a brief selection of material/scholarly articles that you plan to rely on for your paper. After your topic has been approved, you are free to begin development of the paper in greater detail. The purpose of this writing assignment is to help you express your thoughts/findings on a subject related to Money and Banking, as well as to gain some greater confidence in the process of scholarly writing. That said, I am NOT looking for original research, although in some cases (but not all cases), basic data analysis may be required for you to demonstrate certain points you wish to make. This project is about writing and expressing your ideas in a clear and careful way. A first draft of this term paper is due next Monday (November 11th). Please post the papers on Blackboard. If you must, you can forward to my email account. The paper must be typed, double spaced, and roughly 12 pages in length, exclusive of tables and references. The first draft will account for 1/3 of your final grade on the paper. I am looking to see that you have developed the idea in a reasonably thorough way. By that I mean the following: 1) You have...

Analysis of a Webpage of the Kidney Failure

...Internet resources can be used as a patient education tool and they offer the opportunities for personal interaction. Instead of following health advice and instructions passively, internet tools allow people to maintain their physical well-being actively by providing updated health information, user friendly activities, and support groups (Rankin et al., 2005). 64% of the 113 million internet users in America have searched for medical information. (as cited in Rankin et al., 2005). Many health professionals concern that the internet resources can be potentially negative by spreading misinformation (as cited in Rankin et al., 2005). However, only scant research supports this concern, and other research shows that the overall accuracy of the health information on internet is good (as cited in Rankin et al., 2005). This paper is to analyze MedlinePlus, one of the patient education websites, using Fry Readability Formula, SAM (Suitability Assessment of Materials), and the guidelines that Rankin, Stallings and London (2005) suggest. MedlinePlus contains countless pages of health information including diseases, interactive health tutorials, games, medical dictionary, and videos. Therefore, analyzing one of the vast amounts of pages will have limitation to generalize the whole website. This analysis can be considered as an example. Because I work in the renal unit, and most of my patients experience chronic kidney failure, I chose the page of the chronic kidney disease. The URL is...
