In the book Savage Inequalities, the author Kozol argues the problem of unequal distribution in the schools of New York City. According to the author there is a problem in New York City because statistics reveal that there is unequal distribution of funds between poor schools and riches schools. The poor schools received less by comparison with the wealthy schools, Kozol argues that the money spent in suburb schools is more than double that spent inner city schools. The author Kozol visited the poorest school in New York and the fancies, and he said that the poorest school in New York classroom were overcrowd with not enough supply.
