Hanging from a branch in a tall tree was a monkey named Max.

Max was practicing his flips when he fell to the ground, hitting his head. Hours later Max awoke forgetting where he was and where he belonged.

Looking around, he noticed there were four different paths around him. Wanting to know where he belonged, Max decided to see where each path would lead him.

Walking down the first path, he found some sticky green slime on the ground. That was enough for him to continue and find out more.

A little later, Max bumped into a snake who was playing with the slime. "Who are you and what is this slime?" He questions while playing with the slime in his hand.

"I'm Sally and this is my science project. I'm a scientist." She said as she bent down …show more content…
Then out of nowhere, Max tripped over a wire and crashed into a project.

He decided he didn't want to embarrass himself further, and walked down the path to return back where he was many times before. No matter how much he wanted a robot to peel his bananas he just couldn't stay there any longer.

Going down the last path, Max was sad that none of the other ones worked out for him. He was still hopeful that this would be the path for him.

Unlike everywhere else he went, he didn't find anything on the ground for him to trip over. This path was longer than the other ones, but Max had a feeling it may be worth it.

After a long walk, Max made it to where the people here lived. He finally met a monkey, named Molly, and was excited to find someone like him.

They talked for a while and kept walking around until Molly made it to where she worked. Max saw a big board with all different numbers on it, and he wanted to solve the problems.

"Are these math problems?" Max says while grabbing a marker. He then begins to solve the problem on the board.

"They are and you seem to know how to do them very well." Molly stated while smiling at Max, who seemed to be enjoying
