A eulogize is a speech or written memorial of a recently deceased person give at a funeral. Eulogizes are usually read by a family member or a person that was close to the deceased to celebrate their life and accomplishments. A well written eulogy will, “ highlight the departed loved one’s accomplishments, important relationships, and unique qualities, citing examples and stories familiar to your listeners” (bookcite).
