A Sunny Day in Bryant Park
Today was sunny, neither cold nor hot. After lunch, I hung out to Bryant Park to relax myself. There were a large number of people at that time due to the brilliant weather, I supposed. Nearly all the positions were occupied. Some were chatting with each other during the lunch time, happily and breezily. While some young boys enjoyed themselves going skating or playing tennis. Others, especially some old men and women would rather take nap in the leisure time. Under the heavy pressure in my studies, in fact, seldom had I observed people so carefully like this. In most cases, I always passed by the park as quickly as I could to save the time. It seemed that everyone had his own story and in different moods. It interested me a lot. While I was walking with no aim and destination, a slim woman with blonde hair suddenly caught my eye.

Sitting on a chair at the corner of the park with an elegant posture and wearing headphones while indulging herself in the books, she frowned suddenly just like coming across some problems. A formal suit, a pair of delicate high heels, black coat on the chair. All these indicated that she was an office lady. Drinking a cup of Starbucks while skimming through the documents, she pulled the beautiful long black hair gently from time to time. She might work in the office not far away and have some tasks to deal with, which should have been finished in the morning. In the light of the exhaustion shown on her face, I thought she had to put up with the great work intensity. Tired and sleepy, she had no choice but to take the coffee. The headphones, I thought, were supposed to keep her away from the outside instead of for a joy only.

At that time, a handsome man patted her shoulder and she took off the headphones, smiling and sighing. Men's hands holding one piece of pizza and two bottles of water, the man took a seat near the elegant woman. They were a couple or just colleagues? I just could not figure it out. As soon as the men sat down, the lady became very energy, pointing to files here and there while talking, maybe explaining. The young man, at that time, kept listening and nodding to show his praises. After a while, they laughed simultaneously, as if all the confusions before vanished. Then they put down the files and prepared to enjoy the meals.

I felt cheerful and delighted after watching this. Turning away and having a look at the blue sky, I realized the life were always meaningful if you kept moving. All of us in the city were busy and tired. You may forget to sleep and I would miss the meals sometimes. Feeling exhausted but proud of myself, I thought it was the real value the life lied in. Never give up and alway keep ahead. Struggling for the dreams always makes the life much more meaningful.
