Palpable masses are the most common way that abdominal wall lesions are found. This article discusses all the different types of abdominal lesions and how ultrasound aids in the finding of these. When there is doubt about a palpable mass in the abdomen, a sonography examination will be done to determine if it is in the abdominal wall or the abdominal cavity. High frequency (5 to 12 MHz) was used to scan all patients using a linear transducer.
