The question arises then how come we judge the intelligence of a person when everyone has got a special set of skills that may lead to different results in different scenarios. Some may be good at studies but they are bad at sports and it may be true vice versa also. Now considering the occupational success I believe that being good at academics proves to be an upper hand in it rather than a good performance at the extracurricular activities. We choose occupation based on our interests or the things from which we have learnt. We won’t be turning into mathematics teachers if we are learning psychology all throughout our college period.
