Accounting System
Although Kudler Fine Foods currently has an accounting system that they are using that seems to be adequate, the goal in the future is for the organization to continue to grow, and along with this growth is going to come the need for a more comprehensive system that can support their growing changes. We all know that proper accounting practices are one of the most important things in any business, and Kudler is no exception. After careful review of different accounting software that is out there on the market today, I personally think that QuickBooks by Intuit would be a logical solution to their growing needs.
Key Features:
The key features for this new accounting system should include all of the things that are necessary for the growth of a smaller enterprise. The software should be able to keep track of all of the company’s financial transactions. It should be a financial accounting and reporting system all in one. The software should also have the capability to record all of their transactions as well as report all of the operating data at the end of each quarter or month, whichever the organization prefers, and it also needs to help analyze all of their financial data. QuickBooks accounting software does well to allow for journal entries by debiting and crediting the financial accounts, such as liabilities, assets, revenues, and expenses. Kudler can even use this software to prepare an accurate budget. More key features of QuickBooks include the organization of all financial information, tracks expenses and sales accurately, and all of this in the long run will make tax time that much more tolerable. QuickBooks is also wonderful for ease of use, and is fully in compliance with the generally accepted accounting practice (GAAP). One of the things that really

Accounting involve in the preparation of general journal, spreadsheet, ledger sheet and others which frightens and makes it difficult to some people. In the computerized accounting section, it helps make it easy and interesting to the individual. Indeed computerized accounting has a great impart in the accounting system. But to say that two or three weeks of training in computer program in accounting is the best way in accounting system, for that I disagree with it. Yes the computerized accounting has help in many ways but it does not supersede the manual or the tradition way of accounting. The manual or traditional way of accounting is the process of recording transaction on the paper or in a document in a raw fact. The combination of the two which is the manual and computerized accounting system is the best way of accounting but specializing in the computerized system is not the best way. There are functions that that can be concerned as in effective way of accounting. * COST One of the bigger advantages in the manual accounting is the cost saving compare to computerized accounting. In week three several topics were discussed including, accounting information and tools, the balance sheet, calculating profit and loss, cash control and assessing financial performance. In week four we covered internal controls and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. We wrapped up the course discussing what motivates companies to invest. There was a great deal of information presented in this course especially considering it was crammed into a five week period. Week One The textbook started out by discussing the different forms of business organizations. Sole Proprietorships is a small business owned by a sole person. They are easy to set up and give the owner control over the business. Partnerships were then clarified by indicating that they are similar to a sole proprietorship except that two or more persons own the business. The chapter went on to describe corporations as a company that is organized as a separate legal entity with stockholders. It seems that the main deciding factors for selecting...
