Furthermore, Gates and his wife, Melinda, wish to rid the world of Poliomyelitis or Polio for short. Bill Gates has stated in an interview “We’re focused on the help of the poorest in the world, which really drives you into vaccination. You can actually take a disease and get rid of it all together, like we are doing with polio” (Tweedie 1). In addition to have already donated twenty-eight billion, he plans on donating even more when he and his wife pass away. In an interview, Bill Gates said that he only plans on giving ten million to his children when he passess away and giving the rest to charity.
