In the video “ Go To School: Spread The WORD” by Drew Vai he states how he thought killing for his family was the way to protect his family’s name instead of getting an education. Vai was part of a class which was mostly Pacific Islanders, the class got asked, “Raise your hand if you would kill for your family?” Vai thought that hurting someone would protect the pride of his family but he later then realized that he was looking at it the wrong way.
