I just finished a brilliant poem book called Love that Dog by Sharon Creech. It is not like a regular poem book with short little poems it tells a story of a dog named Sky and his teacher. The point of view is mainly written in a Third Person…Limited Omniscient it tells Sky story in the authors point of view.
While I was reading I experienced sensory details the author wrote the book and it describes words well. While I was reading I discovered that whenever it said tall the letters where tall and if it said short the letters where short. I really understood the book and I like how the authors think.
I think the theme of the book is that when I was reading I saw a paragraph that said “I don’t want to because boys don’t write poetry.” I
