GAP

This trend has been taking place since 2008 and although still in its infant stage, it is slowly but surely gaining momentum in the talent acquisition world. With the world headed into an era where everything is automated or computer driven, Social Recruiting will no longer be a thing of the future but a thing of the present. My Topic Selection that I have chosen is: Social Recruiting: Talent Acquisition & Social Media. According to David Smooke, a San Francisco Bay Area – Director, Content & Social Media @ SmartRecruiters, “Social recruiting is a contested term. It is a concept at the intersection of recruitment and the embryonic field of social media. There are several terms used interchangeably including social hiring, social recruitment and social media recruitment.” Allison Doyle, Job Search and Employment Expert at About.com, said, “Social Recruiting is when companies and recruiters use Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and other social media sites to source and recruit candidates for employment.” According to Matt Alder, Strategy Consultant for HR and......

One of the ways to drive and improve personal performance is by undertaking self assessments. While there are many self assessments available, many rely upon different contributing factors. The Johari Window theory focuses on communication being vital to a successful business; being an information processing model, the Johari Window employs a four-part figure to reflect the interaction of two sources of information - self and others. (Teleometrics International, 2007). Whilst the Johari Window could be an advantage in future roles I wish to progress into within Wilko, identifying area’s I don’t know about myself could be vital to the success of my newly formed team. First, your exclusive use of a fleet of Hybrid and electric cars is a testament to your desire to have less impact on the environment and save the earth for future generations. Second, the use of technology as a way to secure rides helps Stonefield Limousines stay competitive in a market dominated by powerful ridesharing applications like Uber and Lyft. Third, the use of metrics to grade every single ride is a strategy at the heart of your customer service approach because the more data your business can generate, the stronger your business analysis capabilities. In addition according to the US census data (2013) website, 33.34% of Austin, Texas population annual income is $100,000 or above which means that a great number of people have disposable income for the use of Limousine service.
