Have you ever heard of an intense story that places multiple worlds in the hands of four 13 year olds who simply thought that they were playing a video game? A story that kills off the main characters, only to bring them back? Well if you haven’t you then you my friend have never heard of Homestuck. Homestuck is a webcomic, found at mspaintadventures.com, that was created and written by none other than Andrew Hussie. Andrew’s work is extremely complicated but hooks the hearts of many. He has worked hard to get where he is today and without his large and supportive fanbase, he wouldn't even be where he is right now. Andrew Hussie, through many years of work, has became one of the most prolific figures in the webcomic-making world.

He continued to write though, but what he didn’t realize was that as he hit something that sparked a few people’s interest, then his few but loyal fans started to spread word and his webcomic Homestuck gained a slow but steady amount of new fans daily. The comic itself is hard to read at first. The comic has a very old style, lots of pictures and a ton of chat logs between characters with thousand of words per page sometimes. He also puts some flash animation and games into his comics so as you’re reading there’s a picture and sometimes even moving pictures or gifs. His approach to writing is in fact very “stream of consciousness” (comicsalliance.com). Like all, Hussie had and still has a good amount of “haters” but he says “they don’t bother him.” (comicsalliance.com). Readers have to stick to the comic before they actually get hooked and this is where he received hate, many do not have the patience to stick to reading. Once readers got to that hook, they were hooked for good because Homestuck’s views skyrocketed as many fans became invested into his deep and intense story.
