Application Report
Assume for a moment that you are the HR Manager for a medium size company. How would you try to get individual managers to be more aware of the legal requirements of staffing systems and to take steps to ensure that they themselves engage in legal staffing actions? It’s extremely important that company’s today and various areas of HR keep up with the local laws and those laws that impact legislation and how their business is run, this will protect the organization from costly penalties. The legislation states that the Human resources managements must comply with all safety, health regulations for all employment agencies. Usually this includes local, state and federal laws that simply pertains to human resources in benefits, labor relations, recruitment, and termination. This also includes employees hired locally, management of employee and employee travel. For example, in the health industry for consultants that usually travel for EMR implementation, human resources usually deals with signing contracts, implementing HIPAA training course and following the rules and guidelines for each state. With the increasing globalization large organizations handling business internationally usually set up overseas. If I was the HR manager in charge of a company, there would be several ways which the awareness can be created about the legal requirements of staff system. For instance, I would send out a memo that communicates the need and importance we all need to be aware of when it comes to legal requirements and to be sure that we as managers are also being compliant and lead by example. I would also conduct regular trainings, accenting changes in legal requirements and make sure that rules are always being followed properly.
