Donald Trump has chosen to only take one dollar per year as his salary instead of Barack Obama’s salary of over $400,000. Trump, days after being elected, spoke with Vladimir Putin, leader of Russia, after Putin was recorded saying that he wishes to make amends with the United States, and even wishes to become good allies. On another note, Chris Christie, governor of New Jersey, who was in charge of making the presidential switch a smooth process was fired by Trump. Instead, Vice President-Elect Mike Pence will take on the burden. So far, it has not been an easy, organized transition for the world, as thousands of people protest daily.
