“There’s no quarterback I’d rather have than Tom Brady. He’s the best ever.” This is what patriots coach Bill Belichick said about Tom Brady. I also agree with him. Brady has less interceptions, more playoff wins, and more super bowl rings than another great quarterback, Peyton Manning. That’s part of the reason that I think that Brady is better than Manning.

First, let’s start with the interception comparison. In Tom Brady’s career, he has only thrown 152 interceptions. In Manning’s whole career he threw 251 total interceptions. That’s an average of 10.13 interceptions per season for Brady and an average of 14.76 interceptions per season for Peyton Manning. Brady has a total of 24 playoff wins and it could be 25 if he wins Super Bowl 51. Manning only has 14 playoff win. An opposing argument may say that Brady has more playoff wins because he has played in more postseason games but Brady is a good enough quarterback to play in so many playoff games. In fact, Tom Brady has only missed the playoffs 3 times in his career.

One more thing that proves that Brady is superior to Manning is the comparison of super bowl rings. Brady has already won 4 super bowls and it could be 5 after this year. Peyton Manning has only won 2. Some people will say that Manning has a better win percentage in the super bowl but that’s only because Manning has only been to three and now Brady has made it to 7 super bowls and could win 5 of those 7.

Because of these reasons, I believe that Tom Brady is a better quarterback than Peyton Manning. Brady has thrown less interceptions, more total playoff wins, and more super bowl wins. There are also many more stats that show that Brady is not only better than Manning, but that he could be the greatest quarterback of all
