Aril Holdings Ltd. had no other capital except the shares of INARCO Ltd. transferred to it by the Associated Rubber Industry Ltd. It had no other business or source of income whatsoever except receiving the dividend on the shares of INARCO Ltd. The dividend income from the shares of INARCO Ltd. was not transferred to The Associated Rubber Industry Ltd. and therefore, it did not find place in the profit and loss account of the company with the result that the available surplus for the purposes of payment of bonus to the workmen of the company became reduced. The net result of the exercise was that bonus at the rate of 4% only was paid to the workers for the year 1969 instead of at the rate of 16% to which they would have otherwise been entitled. We may mention here that Aril Holdings Ltd. was itself wound up in the year 1971 and amalgamated with The Associated Rubber Industry Ltd. Battle Of Berlin Research Paper

...“The date is Monday, Aril 16. Less than thirty-eight miles from the center of Berlin the thunder and flash of a stupefying artillery barrage signal the beginning of the Russians attack against the capital of the thousand year Reich. Some forty-five miles to the west, the advanced units of the U.S. Ninth Army are turning back, angry, and reluctant to obey the Supreme Commander’s order to withdraw when the last great Prize of the war is within their reach. In fourteen days, the Fuhrer would be dead; in twenty one days the war against Germany would be over.” (C.Ryan, The Last Battle, 1966) The Battle of Berlin is arguably one of history’s most bitterly fought battles. It was the most intense offensive of the war. It saw a gigantic army of 2.5 million Soviet men unleashed in a deadly assault against the depleted forces of the Wehrmacht. The remaining forces of Nazi Germany were on the verge of annihilation by the large, growing masses of the Soviet Army. Berlin was the ultimate prize for the Soviet Union and their leader Stalin. The city represented the heart of Hitler’s Reich and was the location where Adolf Hitler...

...Mary Winkler of Tennessee was a 32, when she was charged with fatally shooting her husband. In 2March of 2006 Mary Winkler’s husband was found shot in the back, at the church of Christ. Winkler was convicted of voluntary manslaughter by a jury of her peers. In Winkler’s defense her attorneys claimed she had been physically abused by her husband. In Mary Winkler’s defense, her attorney used an abuse excuse; according to M. Lippman, “ Dershowitz defines an abuse excuse as a legal defense in which defendants claim that the crimes with which they are charged result from their own victimization and that they should not be held responsible” (2010 Ch. 9). In her defense, witnesses claimed they saw bruises on Winkler and had even confronted her, asking if she was a victim of domestic violence. Winkler even denied abuse to close family members. The defense painted a picture of a traumatized wife, whom had accidently shot her husband. Winkler claimed she did point the gun at her husband but did not mean for the gun to go off. Winkler’s Attorney said Winkler was physically abused, sexually abused, and emotionally abused for years. Even though Winkler’s husband was a preacher, and according to family friend a good person, the jury sided with Winkler and found her guilty of voluntary manslaughter. The judge sentenced Winkler to 210 days in jail; after 67 days served, she was sentenced she was released. Ted Bundy is one of the most famous serial murders in United States...

There Are 8 Replies Here.

...1 Cadmium is a soft, malleable metal that is found in the earth's crust. Cadmium emissions can originate from several anthropogenic sources from the burning of fossil fuels or trash, smoking cigarettes, pesticides, or manufacturing activities. As it is naturally found in the earth, it obviously can be found naturally. Natural sources of cadmium include the weathering of rocks to volcanoes and forest fires to certain foods (Lenntech, 2011). Health effects of cadmium are wide-ranged. Acute effects can result in bronchial and pulmonary irritation, which can be long-term. Chronic effects include frequent formation of kidney stones, emphysema, and damage to vital organs and nervous systems (EPA, 2007). Accumulations of cadmium in the kidneys can be responsible for severe kidney damage, which will persist because it takes quite some time for cadmium to be excreted (Lenntech, 2011). While there is not enough information to conclude that cancer can be caused by cadmium exposure, it is believed that those regularly inhaling cadmium emissions will be at a higher risk for carcinogenic formations. Environmental effects of cadmium can be found in the soil, water, and air. Soil is exposed to cadmium because of artificial phosphate fertilizers and pesticides that are utilized in agricultural areas. As earthworms ingest soil, they become at risk for concentrations of cadmium. If they are exposed, and then die, not only will the soil be affected, but the plants that are in that soil will...

Aldof Hitler

...When the topic of dictators is brought up who comes to mind? Most anyone will say Adolf Hitler. Why was he so cruel? What drove his hatred for the Jews? Why did he want a so-called "perfect" race? Well the answer to all these questions might be answered from Hitler's childhood. Adolph Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Braunau am Inn, Austria. He was the son of Alois, a customs official, and Klara Hitler. Alois was a very mean and stern father. His death, in 1903, came as a relief to Adolf. His relationship with his mother was totally opposite than his relationship with his father, Adolf idealized his mother so when she died in 1907 it was a very traumatic experience to him. This led to many problems, especially school. While living in Vienna, Hitler made his living by drawing small pictures of famous landmarks, which he sold as post cards. But he was always poor. He was also a regular reader of a small paper, which claimed that the Arabian race was superior to all and was destined to rule the world. The paper blamed Communists and Jews for all their problems and Hitler agreed to those views. Hitler agreed with most of the points made in the publication. He continued to live a poor life in Vienna and in 1913 decided to move to Munich. Still living in Vienna and being Austrian by birth, Hitler showed more loyalty to the country of Germany. He thought that the Aryan race was destined to rule the world. Many believe that he tried to escape the draft but it was never proven...
