Honor property rights including copyrights and patent. Every software engineer or any kind of developer should be aware that softwares have copyrights by their respective owners and that they should respect and honor their property rights.
Give proper credit for intellectual property. In line with the previous ethical principle, computing professionals should be obliged to protect the integrity of an intellectual property and that there should be no duplicates of other works without the owner’s authorization.
Contribute to society and human well-being. Computer Professionals should not only limit their developments to meet the specific expectations of end-users but also consider factors that may give harmful effects towards their health and welfare. And that developers should be aware if their software may also give harmful effects towards the environment, local or global.
