Title: You are the Human Resource Manager of a large education institute. Staff development and training is part of your job scope.
You have arranged for a Leadership course for your staff members. Invitations had been sent out and confirmations received. The course was initially scheduled to be held during a week day. Now, the course suddenly has had to be changed to a Saturday (a non working day) on short notice for unavoidable reasons.
Write a letter to inform the invited senior staff members of the change, apologize for the inconveniences caused and persuade them to still attend the training. Reinstate the benefits and importance of the training on performing their roles and functions better and its value for their own personal development. The purpose of this letter is to inform all of the Columbia senior staff member that the initially schedule of Leadership course has been changed from Tuesday 9 August 2011 to Saturday 20 August 2011 , 2.00pm at the 504 Community Hall of the Columbia Campus.

Here on, I commissary Columbia Higher Education Academy to make apologize to the senior staff members for inconveniences caused of change the course time to Saturday (a non working day). The course has been changed due to the schedule conflict with our schedule speaker. We are very recognition this Leadership course, so we arranged a famous lecturer Robert Morris who come from Australia’s Curtin College to discuss the method of “How to lead team to work in a multicultural workforce”.
