Emerging to his rise of fame in 2013, August Alsina did not have it easy growing up in his hometown of New Orleans, LA. From a young age, Alsina has been intertwined in the world of drugs. Not only his father , but his step father as well, struggled with being addicted to crack. Alsina’s mother moved him and his three brothers to Houston, TX in hope of starting a better life.
