Sample Membership Questionnnaire Survey

...Membership survey questionnaire • First things first - get to know your members. It's important to know what type of member is answering the survey. Even if your survey is anonymous, it can be helpful to know things like: How long have you been a member? Have you ever served on the board or a committee? How many chapter functions did you attend this year? • Your best strategy for growing the chapter is to use your current membership to your advantage. Learn what made them join with questions like: How did you find out about the chapter? What made you decide to join the chapter? Are there any other people that might be interested in joining? If so, please list them.   • Hold yourself accountable for all aspects of the chapter and ask how your members feel about each. Especially for new projects, ask specific questions like: How valuable do you think the chapter newsletter is? How would you rate the usability of the chapter's event registration process? How smoothly do you feel the board elections went? • Always ask about events. Your conferences and seminars are a major component of your chapter's value, and you need to ensure that your programs are worth coming back to. Pose questions like: How valuable was last month's speaker series? What was the best aspect of this year's conference? The worst? What venue have you liked best this year? • Always try to predict the future. Membership satisfaction surveys are a great way to improve your......

...paying fat tax on other companies’ chocolate bars which are not altered according to the tax laws. Disadvantages : a) Kraft foods will incur switching costs while producing the new chocolate bars. The new healthier and alternative ingredients are costlier, and therefore add to their total cost and possibly lower their profits for a certain amount of time. b) Their opportunity cost to producing the new chocolate bars is high. The same amount of money could have been used to produce a new type of chocolate for example. The money could have been invested in other alternatives to the new chocolate bars . c) Research and development costs are also brought upon Kraft Foods while producing the new chocolate bars. For example, taking surveys, feedback forms, etc. Research and development costs are usually incurred when a company sets out to sell a new product or before producing one. d) The quality of taste may drop as in the UK only 12% of those over 16 year olds consider lower calorie options. The rest stick to the original fatty chocolate bars, and they may begin disliking the new chocolate bars and in turn Kraft Food could lose a good number of customers. Q.2: How likely do you think it is that the UK government will bring in legislation to tax high-fat food products like chocolate? Why do you think that? One could say that the UK government would be very likely to bring in legislation to tax high-fat food products like chocolate due to various reasons such......

...Summary This report summarizes a plan to conduct a wireless site survey, also called a radio frequency (RF) survey, at Orchard Street Art Center. This survey will generate recommendations for maximizing network security, coverage, and capacity. Expert Advice Earlier this year, the board of directors of Orchard Street Art Center asked me to propose a plan to improve wireless coverage throughout the center’s public areas, offices, classrooms, music studios and indoor and outdoor theaters. To make sure I proposed the most effective plan possible, I decided to seek the advice of experts. Fortunately, one of the area’s top experts in wireless networking, Jamie Brookstone, president of Brookstone Network Consulting, offered the services of his staff pro bono. Thanks to his offer, I was able to meet several times with the following consultants: Lyn Luzerne Our conversations focused on ways to improve network connections for the center’s staff and patrons. I also studied information obtained from leading hardware manufacturers and software distributors. This research suggests that our first step is to conduct a site survey of our entire facility. Final Recommendation A high availability, secure wireless network is crucial to our mission at Orchard Street Art Center. Lighting and sound systems in our two theaters increasingly rely on wireless signaling, as do our classroom facilities. Furthermore, patrons and instructors now consider a secure wireless network essential for a......

...Graham and Campbell Harvey, Duke University* e recently conducted a comprehensive survey that analyzed the current practice of corporate finance, with particular focus on the areas of capital budgeting and capital structure. The survey results enabled us to identify aspects of corporate practice that are consistent with finance theory, as well as aspects that are hard to reconcile with what we teach in our business schools today. In presenting these results, we hope that some practitioners will find it worthwhile to observe how other companies operate and perhaps modify their own practices. It may also be useful for finance academics to consider differences between theory and practice as a reason to revisit the theory. We solicited responses from approximately 4,440 companies and received 392 completed surveys, representing a wide variety of firms and industries.1 The survey contained nearly 100 questions and explored both capital budgeting and capital structure decisions in depth. The responses to these questions enabled us to explore whether and how these corporate policies are interrelated. For example, we investigated whether companies that made more aggressive use of debt financing also tended to use more sophisticated capital budgeting techniques, perhaps because of their greater need for discipline and precision in the corporate investment process. More generally, the design of our survey allowed for a richer understanding of corporate decision-making by analyzing......

...Survey Paper Research and Evaluation I Survey Paper This is the problem statement that is being addressed. Why do employers insist on specifying ethnic background to non Hispanic? The survey will ask questions that normally one cannot ask the employer or the interviewer. The problem is that there has been a trend with applications to single out Hispanic/Latino ethnicity. There was a time where the employer would voluntary provide the option to answer the ethnicity background but now it is nearly impossible to find an application that does not state the several ethnic choices to set parameters of the words of “Non-Hispanic” to be checked of such as White (Non-Hispanic) Native American (Non-Hispanic) African American (Non-Hispanic) Asian (Non-Hispanic) Other (Non-Hispanic) Hispanic (Anyone who's ethnic background stems from any of the Latin American, Central American, or South American Countries, Or who's parents share this ethnicity.). This research addresses a concern of why do most employers find it important to whether request the information if one is either of Hispanic background? Employers indicate the information is voluntary and is not to be taken into consideration during a hiring process but through experience it is found otherwise. For example the Internet online application provided by the employer requests that the question of identifying...

...Consumer Perceptions of Bardot During our survey we asked Bardot customers to rate their opinions of the brand in terms of price, fashion (on trend, fashionable) and quality. On average Bardot customers rated the pricing as 3.1/5 , compared to 2.9 /5 in fashionable and 2.8/5 in quality. The overall customer perception of the store is in the upper middle range indicating Bardot’s target market is satisfied with these factors. The data shows the Bardot customers perceive the pricing of their clothing to be reasonable (3.1/5). When comparing the figure with quality, which has a similar rating, (2.8/5), it indicates the products are good ‘value for money’, suggesting it is affordable for the market and customers are willing to spend their money there. This data also shows the clothing as being fashionable, indicating their designs are on trend and are popular among their customers. We asked Bardot customers to think back to their last visit into a store and tell us whether they thought the store presentation was inviting, eg. window display, store layout and presentation of stock. Our findings show that majority of customers, 74% found the store presentation inviting, suggesting the visual merchandising is attracting their market and satisfying the needs of the customer. A nearly equal percentage of customers, 77%, said the store presentation was important to them, implying that the way Bardot chooses to merchandise and promote their product is essential and may assist in......
