PENGENALAN

Servis ‘Forehand’

Teknik melakukan Servis ‘Forehand’ Rendah

Teknik melakukan Servis ‘Forehand’ Tinggi

Teknik melakukan Servis ‘Backhand’

Jenis Overhead Lob:
a. Full lob / Clear, shuttlecock tinggi ke belakang.
b. Attacking Lob / Clear, shuttlecock tidak terlalu tinggi
Teknik melakukan Pukulan Lop

a.Drop penuh

Teknik melakukan Pukulan Drop

a. Pukulan smash penuh.
b. Pukulan smash potong.
c. Pukulan smash backhand.
d. Pukulan smash melingkar atas kepala (around the head smash).
Para pemain seharusnya belajar menguasai semua teknik pukulan smash dengan sempurna. Manfaatnya sangat besar dalam meningkatkan kualiti permainan.
1. Smash Penuh

Teknik melakukan Pukulan Junam (Smash)

...Just Released - NEW Badminton Training Program, Is it Any Good? Read All About it Here | | Basic Badminton RulesLearn the Basic Badminton Rules and you can start to enjoy the game. | Of course if you intend to play competitively, it's important that you know all of the badminton rules. For social and leisure purposes, I think this will do. Introduction Before the 2006 Thomas/ Uber Cup, the official scoring format was the 15 points format. The IBF (International Badminton Federation) then tested a new scoring format which is the 21 points rally format in the 2006 Thomas/Uber Cup. This 21 points rally format has since become the official one replacing the 15 points format. 15 Points Format There are a lot of people who still prefer the old format. So I have listed down the basic badminton rules for this format here if you have this preference. - To win a match, you have to win 2 out of 3 games. - To win a game, you have to score 15 points for men and 11 points for women. - If the score becomes 14-all (10-all in women's singles), the side which first scored 14 (10) shall exercise the choice to continue the game to 15 (11) points or to 'set' the game to 17 (13) points. - If you win a rally in which your opposition served, you win back the service rights. - Only the serving side can add a point to its score. - You score a point when your opponent could not return the shuttle or the shuttle he/she returns fall out of bounds....

Badminton Essay

...Scott Gottardo Badminton/Pickleball 4/13/14 Final Normally in High School, mostly during winter, I would put on a couple of pounds. Then when spring comes around and the Badminton season starts, I burn it all away. But since now being in College, I don't exercise, which means that I won't burn the pounds that I put on during winter. I have always loved Badminton, which is why I chose this class. When I started this class, being an intermediate/advanced Badminton player, thought that I wouldn't get that much exercise, this being a College gym class. Then a couple of days in, realized that there were a couple of decent students that made me try a little harder. I also never got to face the professor, but that's fine. I still had fun throughout this semester. Then we switched gears into pickle ball. The fun and exercise just came rolling in. It was a good way to get more exercise to burn some pounds on top of being fun. Now, pickle ball was very different from Badminton in many ways. The most strenuous parts were the speed and how hard you had to hit the ball. Placement was a big deal as well but not as hard as speed and contact with the ball. Now, after the class being done for the semester, realize that I should run a couple of times a week in order to get more exercise. Also to make up for not having as much exercise as when I was on the Badminton team in High School. This will help me stay better in shape and burn some more pounds....

...Rules of Badminton You shall serve from, and receive in, the right service court when you or your opponent has scored an even number of points in that game. You shall serve from, and receive in, the left service court when you or your opponent has scored an odd number of points in that game. You and your opponent will hit the shuttle alternately until a 'fault' is made or the shuttle ceases to be in play. Scoring System You score a point and serve again from the alternate service court when your opponent makes a 'fault' or the shuttle ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of your opponent's side of court. No points will be scored when you make a 'fault' or the shuttles ceases to be in play because it touches the surface of your side of court. The serving right will then be transferred to your opponent. What are the fault in Badminton? The rules of badminton consider the following as faults: - If the shuttle lands outside the boundaries of the court, passes through or under the net, fail to pass the net, touches the ceiling or side walls, touches the person or dress of a player or touches any other object or person. - If the initial point of contact with the shuttle is not on the striker's side of the net. ...Badminton is a racquet sport played by either two opposing players (singles) or two opposing pairs (doubles), who take positions on opposite halves of a rectangular court that is divided by a net. Players score points by striking a shuttlecock with their racquet so that it passes over the net and lands in their opponents' half of the court. Each side may only strike the shuttlecock once before it passes over the net. A rally ends once the shuttlecock has struck the floor. The shuttlecock (or shuttle) is a feathered projectile whose unique aerodynamic properties cause it to fly differently from the balls used in most racquet sports; in particular, the feathers create much higher drag, causing the shuttlecock to decelerate more rapidly than a ball. Shuttlecocks have a much higher top speed, when compared to other racquet sports. Because shuttlecock flight is affected by wind, competitive badminton is played indoors. Badminton is also played outdoors as a casual recreational activity, often as a garden or beach game. Since 1992, badminton has been an Olympic sport with five events: men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles, and mixed doubles, in which each pair consists of a man and a woman. At high levels of play, the sport demands excellent fitness: players require aerobic stamina, agility, strength, speed and precision. It is also a technical sport, requiring good motor coordination and the development of sophisticated racquet movements....

They must look different from any player that is playing the game so their appearance may vary. * Equipment needed - Typically a Badminton umpire need. A watch with timer and/or stopwatch; one yellow, and one red card (black card if you are a referee), clipboard and whistle for them to carry out their job of watching the badminton game. * Fitness required – No fitness required but good eyesight on the shuttle if needed for the umpire to call if the shuttle was in or out of the court. * Qualifications / knowledge required – An umpire would need to know the rules of badminton as well as needing to complete an official umpiring qualification and to take 2 theory exams on sports or particular sports. Their grades must be from C upwards. * Use of technology – Umpires usually used an electronic scoring system and an electronic shuttlecock sensor to make sure that the scoring is fair and to make sure every score given is correct....

...HISTORY The history of the development of modern badminton is a very long and complex one. Below is a brief account of the history of the game. Origins of the Game The sport of badminton has its origins in ancient civilizations in Europe and Asia.  The ancient game known as battledore (bat or paddle) and shuttlecock probably originated more than 2000 years ago. In the 1600s Battledore and Shuttlecock was an upper class pastime in England and many European countries. Battledore and Shuttlecock was simply two people hitting a shuttlecock backwards and forwards with a simple bat as many times as they could without allowing it to hit the ground. Badminton House Badminton takes its name from Badminton House - home of the Duke of Beaufort in the English county of Gloucestershire. In 1873, the Duke is credited with bringing a version of the game – Poona - back from India and introducing it to his guests. Getting organised The sport quickly grew in popularity and in 1877 the first set of written rules were devised by the newly formed Bath Badminton Club. The Badminton Federation of England was created 16 years later and in 1899 it organised the first All England Championships. Olympic history Badminton made its debut as a demonstration sport at the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. It was not until the 1992 Games in Barcelona that it was officially included on the Olympic programme, with men’s and women’s singles and doubles events....
