My three years at Bamberg Ehrahardt High school, I had a teacher who made a positive influence on me. He always had a smile on his face, jokes to tell, and most importantly a willing heart to teach. He showed me how to improve my leadership skills and communication skills. He showed me how to better myself as a citizen. His name is 1st Sergeant Smith.
1st Sergeant Smith was by my side since he came to Bamberg to teach JROTC. Before he arrived to this school, I was very quiet and to myself. I never participated in anything and my studying skills were very horrible. 1st Sergeant pushed me to studying more and my grades improved. He made a study log for his cadets that really helped us out a lot and this skill helped me study for each of my classes
