BATA
BATA is one of the company that organized by Tomas Bata founding in 1894 in Zlin , Czechoslovakia. BATA has been in the shoe-making industry for over 100 years. The BATA brand has offer the best shoes at the best price.
BATA is a local brand but now already reach to worldwide as their international manufacturing structure allows BATA facilities to response to the unique needs and wants of local customer. Today, BATA has been on the leading edge of footwear design as professionals in BATA’s Shoe Innovation Centers around the world continue the tradition of innovation as they dedicate themselves to discovering new shoes materials and developing modern shoe technologies.
The elements of BATA are the concept, the fingerprint ,the immediate determinants of the work culture. The concept of work culture is the summary of view behavior patterns, values preferences, skills and legitimating processes in the area of work. Work culture is very important for the work efficiency. For the fingerprint of work culture is evident in the work tools and work product. It is reflected in the prescribed work procedures and organization system, in self-regulation and in completion of partial tasks within the whole unit. Lastly, the immediate determinants of work culture are work tasks, work conditions, workers, tools and materials. These determinants lead into specific technology and work organization and they interact intensely in creation of a stable way of performing work with a certain internal logic. BATA faces a working capital problem at a time when suppliers are demanding cash upfront for raw materials cause by the crisis economy of the country. BATA is currently operating at only 40% production capacity as the shoe-maker cannot affort to import 80% raw materials on cash upfront basis and there were no plan for any major expansion of the business until the situation is improved.
