...the Battle of Fallen Timbers got its name? Basically, the location of the battle was were a recent tornado had struck down lots and lots of trees. This battle was because of the fact that when the Treaty of Paris was signed , the Indians were supposed to give up most to all of the Northwest Territory to the Americans but they refused to evacuate their forts from this area which led to this awful but significant battle with the march, the battle, and the aftermath. The march began early August, Wayne taking his troops miles and miles each day. Entering Indian Settlements and encamping just miles away from the battle location. It was August 12th, Wayne and his troop are encamped after searching through fields of corn and horse trouble. They stay there waiting for an enemy attack but surprised that they have not shown themselves. Until, one of the troop members went out to rummage for any food he could find and discovered two Indians(female and male) who later admitted they were sent as spies after they were taken as prisoners which angered Wayne but made him more fired up to start an attack sooner....

The military career of President Harrison started shortly after his father’s death in 1791. He decided to leave medical school and join the Army as a lieutenant in the Northwest Territories. He was stationed at Fort Washington, near what is now Cincinnati, Ohio. At the age of 18 he commanded approximately 80 men that he had recruited to fight the American Indians in the western frontier (Library of Congress, n.d.). Another main character is Tokuwaga Jeayasu, a shogun of Japan in 1600, who prohibited Christianity in 1600 and protected his country againt deforestation.
