Leadership is defined as ‘the process in which an individual influences a group of individuals to attain a common goal.’ Leadership for me is stepping up and guiding the path to reach that common goal. How I exhibit leadership is through taking the lead in group projects within different courses. When group assignments are assigned I take on the role of leading the group by delegating task, offering support, and keeping the group on schedule with due dates. I believe I am a good leader because I lead with a positive attitude and confidence. I understand that leadership is not about being the boss, but being a guide and a team player.
