In the article, “Be Impeccable with Your Word”, the author talks about the gift that directly comes from God, the power of the spoken word. The word is not just a term or a symbol, it is the potential to express and connect, to think and create the events in your life. But like two sides of a coin, your word can create the most beautiful dream come true, or your word can destroy everything you own within seconds. One side is the misuse of the word, which creates a living hell. The other side is the perfection of the word, which is capable of giving you heaven on earth.
Precisely, what you dream, what you feel and what you really are, is all manifested through your words. The author advises that in order to be impeccable with your word, you must plant positive opinions and thoughts in your mind; take responsibility for your actions and most importantly, make truthful use of your energy.

To begin with, putting the right kind of constructive thoughts in your mind is the first step towards becoming immaculate with your word. The human mind is like a fertile ground where various seeds are being planted at the same time. These seeds are the virtual opinions, ideas and beliefs that grow into actions. The word is like a seed. However, too often, the mind is fertile for the seeds of fear as well. Every human mind is fruitful to specific kinds of seeds and it is important to see which kind. One man alone, many years ago, sent out seeds of fear and manipulated a whole country of intelligent people which grew very strong and achieved massive destruction. Hitler’s word, based on the fear-generated agreements, will be remembered for centuries. One fear planted in our mind can create an endless chain of consequences. A word is like a magic spell and humans are like magicians, we can either put a spell on someone with our word or we can release someone from a

The Four Agreements

...the future; keep your attention on today, and stay in the present moment. Just live one day at a time. Always do your best to keep these agreements, and soon it will be easy for you. Today is the beginning of a new dream.” This statement by Don Miguel Ruiz is probably one of my new favorite quotes. Mainly because it is relatable to everyone. The Four Agreements is a guide for those who are seeking a development in their personal life. The book was written by, Don Miguel Ruiz, and he got his ideas from the ancient Toltec wisdom of the Natives of Southern Mexico. The Toltec people were known to be very knowledgeable artists and scientist. They made a society to explore and conserve the traditional spiritual knowledge and practices of their ancestors. Don Miguel Ruiz was brought up in rural Mexico. He was expected to follow his Toltec ways by his mother who was a Toltec faith healer, and grandfather who was a Toltec ‘nagual’, a shaman. Despite this, Don Miguel decided to pursue an orthodox education, which allowed him to be authorized to practice for several years as a surgeon. He first studied the Toltec ways in profundity, and then healing, teaching, lecturing and writing during the following two decades. It was then in 1997 when he published The Four Agreements. (Miguel Ruiz) The Four Agreements: Be impeccable with your word: Speak with Integrity and say only what you mean, and mean what you say and be responsible for your actions. Try not to use the word to speak against...

...“Many words cut more than swords”, "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will always hurt me", are simple sayings that have been repeated over many generations of children. They originated to aid one individual in the ability to say something back to another individual that is slinging mean remarks. What they convey is not necessarily the truth. The reality is that words really do hurt. They may not leave a visible bruise, but they definitely leave a mark on our sense of well-being, sometimes a permanent scar. Words are a very powerful force that can have very powerful effects. Many people underestimate the power of their words as well as how they affect others or even themselves. Whether the words that are said come out negative or positive in meaning, each one has an effect that is equivalent to it. Sometimes words are meant to instill fear of a child and encourage an improvement. Some words are meant as a compliment and used to build confidence. It is important to be impeccable with the words we choose, albeit positive or negative, the effects can be profound. Words that are positive or negative remain with us in our sub-conscious and become pictures of what we hold ourselves to be. Words can be perceived differently than the original intent of the person speaking those words. If a boss says to an employee, let’s say his name is Jeff, that the new employee is doing a far better job than Jeff is and the new person is not making any of the mistakes Jeff ever made...

The Four Agreements

... Don Ruiz captures the audience by referencing to domestication and the dream of our planet where he explains how the life we are living is nothing more than a dream world which we have been manipulated to believe is authentic and unchangeable. In the book, an agreement is deemed as absolute truth which we must honor. There are thousands of agreements we have in life, from the agreement that the sky is blue and water is wet. Readers are introduced, by Don Ruiz, with four agreements which he states are life changing if people implement them in their everyday lives. The four agreements are designed to reinforce each other and they are; Be impeccable with your word Speaking with integrity and only say what you truly mean. Don’t take anything personally Stop believing people do things because of you. People say and behavior based on their projection of their own reality, their own dream. Once you...

Fin Marof in N Out

...1 – Describe In-N-Out in terms of the value it provides for customers? Ans – the service they provide to their customers . Its impeccable freshness and quality sums up how important their customers are to them. Many people enjoy coming here not only for their friendly environment, but for their food because customers can trust their practices (it’s cooked right in front of you). This restaurant has gone way back to the 1940s and is still standing strong today. To In-N-Out, freshness and quality is always important! If you think about it, many places like McDonalds have food additives and are pre-packaged. You do not want that in your body; you want the good stuff. Also, if you have not already noticed, the burgers prepared at In-N-Out look exactly the way they are presented in their commercials and their ads. The only downside to this fast food restaurant is that their locations are limited. Their burgers are quite exceptional. Their simplicity of the menu makes it so much easier for customers to order instead of taking a good 15 minutes looking through the big menu like other places. If you want, you can even customize your fries and burgers to your own liking. Just take this in mind, when you are in there is no more Out. In-N-Out has really achieved in building customer relationships. In fact, it is mentioned that its customer satisfaction scores are the highest compared to any fast-food restaurant in its market areas. The average per-store sales for In-N-Out eclipse those...

Case Application 4-B: Off-The-Job Behaviors Balancing the realities of protecting the organization and the rights of employees, both in and out of work, has become a major focal point to contemporary human resource managers. For example, by everyone's account, Peter Oiler was an outstanding employee. Oiler, a truck driver for Winn-Dixie Stores and a twenty-year employee, had an impeccable and unblemished work record.61 He was punctual, trustworthy, and an exceptionally productive employee. If we have any problems with managing this operation, the customer sees them immediately and that’s the biggest incentive for us to take operations performance seriously.’ ‘Our quality of service just has to be impeccable. First of all this means dealing with the basics. For example, our staff must be courteous at all times and yet also friendly towards our guest. And of course they must have the knowledge to be able to answer guests’ questions. The building and equipment, in fact all the hardware of the operation, must support the luxury atmosphere which we have created in the hotel. Stylish design and top-class materials not only create the right impression but, if we choose them carefully, they are also durable so the hotel still looks good over the years.
