Computerized Grading System/Test Item Analysis
Aims:
* To manage/process important information easy, accurate and fast. * To facilitate computation of grades and processing of different important documents in running a school. * To give teachers/school managers feedback about their students performance. * To get accurate analysis, relevant information about the test administered to their students.
Modules:
* Grades by Subject see the excel files for demo BEC, for DEMO physics, K+12 , sample 1 for grade school This is the grade format intended for the computation of teacher’s grade. Every teacher will only enter the raw scores taken from the teacher’s class records and all the computations will be done by the computer. The desired output is the unrounded final grades, rounded final grades, students’ individual ranking and subject’s top ten lists. * Summary of Grades (see the excel files over-all grade with ROP-Repot on Promotion) This is a module intended to compute for the final grades of the students/pupils in each class. The class adviser enters the grades given by each subject teacher. The modules should generate the following output: 1. Summary Sheet 2. Top Ten on each Subject Area. 3. The Over-all Top Ten of the class. 4. Honors lists 5. Makabayan Computation Also included on this module is the computation of the deportment (converted into a letter grade) and the lists of the deportment awardees arranged alphabetically. This module has the ability to generate the Report on Promotion which is being required to us by the DepEd at the end of each school year. * Test Item analysis and Teacher’s Rate of Performance. (A lot of School Accrediting Agencies are looking for these documents.)See Excel Files Test Item Analysis Math II
This module is intended to analyze the results of the teacher made test. After the tests had been administered the teacher should arrange the scores from highest to lowest. The upper and lower 30% should be taken from the test and be subjected to Item frequency of correct responses. These raw data will be inputted to the module and it will be analyzed by the module automatically. The expected output under levels of difficulty should be in words such as very difficult and very easy. While in terms of item discrimination, the expected output should be descriptive such as very good item, good item, poor item, etc. The rate of performance should describe the rate of mastery for every item in percentage and in words. At the end there must be single result for the average mastery learned by the students from their teacher which can be used for teachers’ efficiency ratings.
What is good about this Computerized Grading System? 1. Unlike any other complicated and expensive programs, it is not limited only on the four corners of your school. It is done using the Microsoft Office Excel. It means that the teacher could save the program in any USB portable devices and could be able to use it anywhere and anytime of the day. 2. The program is not affected both by the server and does not require a sophisticated laptop or pc to run. 3. It is accurate and fast. After entering all the raw data, you could right away view the output/feedback. 4. All the modules could be printed right away. 5. This is already tested and proved its worth as a program for 2 consecutive years. The teachers find the program easy to use. It is 99.99% free from errors. ( Certificate of Appreciation was given to the creator as a proof of his contribution to the school ) 6. The creator of this program is a teacher and loves the teaching profession so much. It is design to help and assists the teachers in accomplishing these tasks fast and easy. It is with this reason that this program is offered at a very low and affordable price. a. The Summary of Grades which they are going to used 5 times in a year (1st-4th plus the over-all final computation + the Report on Promotions) costs only P200/per class. That is about spending P40 pesos for each use or about P20 pesos per month. b. The Computation of Grades by Subject which they are going to used 4 times in a year (1st – 4th Quarter) costs only P30.00 / subject. That is about spending P7.50 /quarter. A teacher could have at least 6-7 subjects handled. It is about P210 for 7 subjects which is valid for the whole school year. (the price may vary according to the complexity required by your school’s grading system ) c. The Test Item Analysis/Teacher’s Rate of Performance is to be given to the school for FREE. d. Training on the use of the program is FREE of charged.
Note: The program is very flexible and could be modify in accordance the grading system that your school is using.
