Now I'm older and wiser, and my dreams have turned into nightmares. My apartment has given me nothing but headaches. From the day I signed the lease, I've had to deal with an uncooperative landlord, an incompetent janitor, and inconsiderate neighbors. First of all, my landlord has been uncooperative. I have two young kids that get dirty playing, and when it's time to give them a bath the water doesn't work, so when I call the landlord to fix it he said not his problem. There are huge holes in the wall that need fixing; however, the landlord doesn't even want to split the bill. Just last week I was only two days late paying my rent, and he still charged me an outrageous late fee. Secondly, I've had a problem not only with my landlord but with an incompetent janitor. When my air goes out he doesn't even come fix it for days. Whenever simple light sockets go out, he tries charging me when his services are included on the lease.
