My name is Akhila Thakur and I was born in India. I had visited United States earlier in 2012 and presently resides in Fairfax. I am studying Masters in Business Administration in the field of International Business Management at Virginia University. I believe in the fact that life cannot always be taken as granted, one needs to go through thick and thins for the ultimate goal of success.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honors) graduated from a reputed university. At degree level, I learnt not only the academic subjects but also about various other aspects of life. I participated in organizing events in college, including quizzes, sports, field work to industries, dance competitions, blood donations for a social cause. I have also has an experience of campus placement interviews which gave me a boost to pursue my career.
I had previously worked at GOOGLE Inc., as a Map Analysist for a period of two years before coming down to United States for MBA. At work, I had a great deal of zest and zeal imbibed in with a pinch of humor and enthusiasm which made my colleagues love my attitude.
My hobbies include sports, travelling to different places because I believes that world is the most beautiful creation of god. I also loves socializing with people and my happy-go nature ends up making many friends. I am in excellent communicator and can deal with people easily. I believe opportunities are created by ourselves. I do everything that mesmerizes me, and those things that can teach me something which would be remembered for eternity.

Managerial Communication is interesting subject for me yet I would like to learn practical and theoretical knowledge about this subject and it also plays vital role for my future professional success.
