Biodiversity is a marvelous thing. It's the number of different organisms in an area. Although you may not be able to see all the types of different biodiversity, that doesn't mean it isn't there. Biodiversity is everywhere, especially in the movie The Lorax. Biodiversity is very important, it helps keep an ecosystem stable and helps animals interact with one another. For instance symbiosis. All organisms rely on biodiversity.

Everyone depends on biodiversity, no matter how big or small. Biodiversity helps animals interact with one another. For instance, a lot of organisms endure the same food source. Some organisms need the same resources (biodiversity) to be supplied with food. Organisms can interact in a mutual way, where one of the organisms benefit and the other one is nor harmed nor hurt. When a lot of biodiversity is removed you can make your town look like a barren waste land. Like when the Once-ler cut down all the trees, factories began to be built and everything was turned into plastic. The sky was grey, the waters were unsanitary. It got to the point where they had to buy air just so that they would be able to stay "fresh." But the factories were more harmful than beneficial, factories dumped their waste in waters, ruining the homes of the aquatic animals and probably even causing some of their deaths. They polluted the air and caused smog to fill their town. This was a complete disaster. Nobody complained because they really didn't have a reason to complain. They were so deeply convinced that what they had was good that they didn't even care about how their town looked. That is just bizarre! They should've fought to save all of the biodiversity, maybe after they realized they were wrong instead of cutting down trees, they should plant some. Instead of using things that will created pollution in a giant number, cut it down and use less
