...The Birth of my Niece Being able to be in the delivery room while my sister was in labor was an amazing experience. When my sister found out she was pregnant we were all upset. She was only 17 at the time and I still couldn’t believe it. I was very disappointed in her because I thought she knew better. There was not much I could do but support her. She needed my support as well as my family’s support. I just kept telling myself this all happened for a reason, and a baby is a blessing. As each day went by I became more and more excited. Getting pregnant and giving birth is a risk many women have taken for centuries because in the end it creates the most beautiful thing imaginable, life.
