Black holes are one of the most mysterious discoveries that many scientists like Albert Einstein solved after many years of work. Black holes can suck anything that gets close to the center of a black hole, known as the event horizon. These monstrous things can slow down time and can do many other things like sucking in anything that can travel in the speed of light. Either way we know what black holes can cause the one question that every person may ask is, “how do black holes form in space?” So from all the scientists that have been working on this question, the one answer they have is that black holes form when a massive star collapses upon itself which can cause a supernova that can blast the star in various pieces into space.

This is the fourth stage of black holes to form. With that explosion it causes a spark for the black holes to begin its life. The black hole is then formed and continues to grow until it has reached its largest mass that came from the dying star. The black hole would then suck anything in that would be near it so fast since it can suck in anything fast that the speed of light. This is the fifth stage for black holes to form. When a black hole has done everything that it is able to do eventually it has an end point to its life. Any black hole has a max lifetime of 10^100 years. That is long enough for the black hole to do some serious damage to the universe that is constantly expanding everyday. It is told by many scientist with theories that black holes would die out not how a star would die but it's much different. When a massive star dies its mass compacts to the center causing it to collapse. But for black holes its reverse, the black hole loses mass each day that passes. So when the black hole has minimal to 0 mass left it would eventually evaporate to what scientist are still trying to figure out. This is the last stage of formation of black

...Numerous studies have been conducted to learn about black holes. Black holes are known to have a large density and mass, with a strong gravitational pull. However, they can be big or small, with the smallest being just one atom. Even though no light can be released, space stations have developed special tools to help find black holes. The special tools help distinguish how stars react near a black hole and how they react away from a black hole. Scientists have also found a different way to detect black holes. Since black holes have strong gravitational pull, stars and gases around will funnel towards the black hole and start orbit around it. Black holes commonly appear when a star begins to die. There are two types of black holes: stellar and...

...Black Holes There are many black holes in our universe. They are spaces, having an intense gravitational field where no matter or radiation can escape. The question is, how do black holes form? How big or small can black holes be? Can a black hole destroy our planet Earth? Lastly how are our scientists studying the black holes so we know nothing will go wrong? A black hole will not let anything inside it escape due to the powerful gravitational force. Scientists believe that the smallest black hole was formed when the universe first began. A different type of black hole is called a “stellar” black hole. It can be up to twenty times bigger than the Sun’s mass. There are a lot of stellar black holes in Earth’s Galaxy, the Milky Way. A stellar...

...mysterious objects in the universe, Black holes are one of the main interest of research for astronomers and astrophysics. These things consume everything that comes in contact, or near them. Now scientist have come up with some information on how they work, how they are formed, and what they do even how big they can get. How are black holes formed and what causes them to form? A black hole forms when any object reaches a certain critical density, and its gravity causes it to collapse to an almost microscopic small point. Stellar-mass black holes form when a massive star can no longer produce energy in its core but may still produce some light but not as much as a sun. With the radiation from its nuclear reactions to keep the star "puffed up," gravity causes the core to collapse and become that point. The star's outer layers may...

Blace Hole

...BLACK HOLE A black hole is a theoretical region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, not even electromagnetic radiation (e.g. visible light), can escape its pull after having fallen past its event horizon. The term derives from the fact that the absorption of visible light renders the hole's interior invisible, and indistinguishable from the black space around it. . The idea of an object with gravity strong enough to prevent light from escaping was proposed in 1783 by John Michell, an amateur British astronomer. In 1795, Pierre-Simon Laplace, a French physicist independently came to the same conclusion. Black holes, as currently understood, are described by the general theory of relativity. This theory predicts that when a large enough amount of mass is present in a sufficiently small region of space, all paths through space are warped inwards towards the center of the volume, preventing all matter and radiation within it from escaping. While general relativity describes a black hole as a region of empty space with a point-like singularity at the center and an event horizon at the outer edge, the description changes when the effects of quantum mechanics are taken into account. [pic]Name The term black hole to describe this phenomenon dates from the mid-1960s, though its precise origins are unclear. According to Einstein’s general theory of relativity, as mass is added to a degenerate star a sudden collapse will take place and the intense...

...1]Main articles: Statistical mechanics, thermal fluctuations, and statistical physics Albert Einstein's first paper[88] submitted in 1900 to Annalen der Physik was on capillary attraction. It was published in 1901 with the title "Folgerungen aus den Kapillarität Erscheinungen," which translates as "Conclusions from the capillarity phenomena". Two papers he published in 1902–1903 (thermodynamics) attempted to interpret atomicphenomena from a statistical point of view. These papers were the foundation for the 1905 paper on Brownian motion, which showed that Brownian movement can be construed as firm evidence that molecules exist. His research in 1903 and 1904 was mainly concerned with the effect of finite atomic size on diffusion phenomena.[88] General principles He articulated the principle of relativity. This was understood by Hermann Minkowski to be a generalization of rotational invariance from space to space-time. Other principles postulated by Einstein and later vindicated are the principle of equivalence and the principle of adiabatic invariance of the quantum number. 2] Main article: History of special relativity Einstein's "Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Körper" ("On the Electrodynamics of Moving Bodies") was received on 30 June 1905 and published 26 September of that same year. It reconciles Maxwell's equations for electricity and magnetism with the laws of mechanics, by introducing major changes to mechanics close to the speed of light. This later became known as...

...The black hole of South-East Asia: strategic decision making in an informational void George T. Haley Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Business, Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia Chin-Tiong Tan Associate Professor, Faculty of Business Administration, National University of Singapore, Singapore Proposes that most managers and researchers acknowledge that emerging and newly industrialized markets do not have the same quantity of secondary data as the longindustrialized economies of North America and Western Europe. Presents the results of a search of available, business-related, secondary data on South-East Asia’s rapidly growing economies; highlights how this dearth of data has resulted in an informational void that affects the practice of strategic management in the region. Also delineates how regional managers cope with and adapt to the informational void, and to the region’s fastchanging business, cultural and competitive environments, by developing their unique, highly-intuitive style of strategic management. Finally provides some suggestions to bridge this informational void for management practice and for future research. The authors thank the Guest Editor, Dr Usha C.V. Ethics Paper

...How to Write a Paper About Nothing Posted on February 22, 2010 · in How-To Writing classes tell students a lot of things. A great many of these things are true, if you’re one of those outmoded models with a “drive to learn” (it hurts to type it) or are one of the poor souls to major in a topic with the word “literature” attached to it. For the rest of us, a different model of writing is necessary. Specifically, a model of writing that can be applied at 1 AM with a hangover and a dozen different assignments due the following morning. As firm believers in sloth and vigilant guardians against that daemon known as effort, Tiger Mag is here to help. The following is a guide to writing a paper just marginally worth the ink used to print it. Carry it with you in dark places, and even darker deadlines. Step 1: Brainstorming Or rather, a lack thereof. A key element of the Tiger Mag academic writing method is a complete and utter lack of forethought and preparation. If your citations go further than the first ten search results on Google, you’re probably overdoing it. Step 2: The Un-Thesis As you might have guessed, the un-thesis is the antithesis of the thesis. After saying that aloud five times, you might wonder just what exactly that means. But that enigma is the sheer brilliance of the un-thesis: it means nothing. The un-thesis is simply an excuse to ramble for six pages on any related topic that happens to cross your mind as you tap futilely away at your keyboard. The ideal...

Stereotype Threat

...Abstract This paper explores a social psychology study that reports on results from research conducted on negative stereotypes and the effects it has on certain types of people. The study focuses on the phenomenon social psychologist call the “stereotype threat” or the concern of being at risk of confirming a negative stereotype about one’s social group (Stone et al., 1999). Similar studies have shown that when people are confronted with negative stereotypes about their social identity they tend to perform poorly on a task. On the other hand people tend to do well on tasks when the threat to their social identity is not present. This paper examines Stone’s, Sjomeling’s, Lynch’s and Darley’s experiment focused on whether traditionally non-stigmatized groups such as white college students would also experience distress when their social identity is threatened. Stereotype Threat The anxiety or concern of confirming negative stereotypes about one’s social group in any situation is referred to as the stereotype threat by social psychologist. Ever since it was first introduce by psychologist Claude Steele, the stereotype threat has become one of the most researched topics in the field of psychology, academics, and recently in athletics. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to critically analyze the study: “Stereotype Threat Effects on Black and White Athletic Performance,” conducted by Jeff Stone, Mike Sjomeling, Christian Lynch, and John Darley....

...essay. I knew going in to this exploratory research assignment that I would be challenged to think outside the box and ask problematic questions about relevant topics. I thought about it and decided to write my paper on something that is familiar to me. I wanted it to be about something that I am experiencing at this very moment. After reading through more and more of the assignment it occurred to me I had never really researched an issue like this. I’ve been listening to a lot of Politics lately and shocked to hear stuff about what is happening to our country. I then found the Embry Riddle Aeronautics University’s HUNTS library. I never knew anything about APA style writing and to be honest, at the beginning, it is a lot to learn in a very fast way, in a short period of time. I found myself questioning if I could even complete this assignment, let alone this course. I have never been one to give up though, at least not in this stage of my life. Anyway, since I did that HUNTS Library training online I thought, HEY! This could be useful to find good information about issues that I hold dear, issues that I believe are borderline and just about to go over the edge, into the never ending black hole of immorality. I could finally research my question in a “scholarly” way. That word is a new one to my vocabulary! Sometimes it is hard to get into the zone and just write. So after I find how useful the HUNTS Library is, I began my research. Since my question had to do with the future...

Teen Pregnancy in America: Who Is to Blame

...rising again. Data released from the Guttmacher Institute, a nonprofit organization that conducts research on sexual and reproductive health, shows that the teen pregnancy rate rose three percent in 2006, the first increase since the late eighty’s. Nationwide, the 2006 teen pregnancy rate was 71.5 pregnancies per 1,000 women ages 15 to 19 (about seven percent of this age group became pregnant). That is an increase from the 2005 rate of 69.5 per 1,000, which was the lowest point in 30 years. The increase was seen in White, Black and Latino teens( document). Many parties surely share the blame for the rise in teen pregnancy. First, the media, there are very few television shows or movies that show the reality. Most movies or television shows have teens engaging in the sexual act with no consequences. Second, according to researches conduct by the Guttmacher Institute a pro-choice organization, the abstinence-only sex education programs which began in the early 2000s, prohibited by law the distribution of contraceptive information. As a result, teens' use of contraceptives declined and pregnancy rate rose. Third, the absent parents; parents today live a busy life. They barely have time to build a relationship with their children. And most of these teenagers grew up without father figures in consequence spend most of their time trying to fill that hole. Accordingly, this paper is going to demonstrate that teen’s pregnancy is a growing problem in America that requires immediate...

Research Paper The United States began its roots in domestic trade products in three different centuries. By forming thirteen farming colonies, the economies made a living in which they could survive. Though, in 1776 the colonies felt the need to join together to form the United States and thus became an industrialized world by manufacturing coal, iron, and oil (Chitwood, 1961). Over the centuries the United States has been able to maintain high wages for jobs because of their assurance materials and social principals. This paper will entail some trends, forecasts, and statistics for the expected growth rate of the United States’ gross domestic products (GDP). It will detail how the GDP is determined and how it can be interpreted. Every month the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) updates the trend, forecasts, and statistics for the GDP. It announces the growth of the GDP and depicts how quickly the economy has flourished from the last quarter. The BEA suggests that the quarterly...
