Life isn’t always fair- Boobie Miles learned the hard way when he had a football career ending injury. Boobie has a very difficult time not having all of the fame he used to have. We can take from this that the tiniest event can prove that life isn’t always fair, but we must find a way to create new dreams to make our lives meaningful.
RACISM- In Odessa blacks and whites are segregated, until it comes to football. On the football field skin color no longer matters. Everyone is there to get a victory.
