Some researchers believe that the born characteristics are more important for the development of personality than the experience we may have in our live. In fact, innate traits are inevitable and may affect our life in the long term. However, in my own opinion, experience is the major influence that plays the vital role in forming our qualification. I believe this thing is true for these two main reasons.
Firstly, personality can be changed through education. Children are sent to school to learn how to behave well and have a good awareness of the fairness, the love, the rights and the success. We will know what should do and what should not do to suit the life‘s condition and to keep all the relationship much longer. Secondly, the outside factors affect us in many ways, especially our friends. The old saying ‘’ A man is known by the company he keeps’’ always remind you of how much the surrounding people affect you. For instance, you play with a group of people, so you tend to imitate their hobbies, their style and so on. Moreover, you may change your appearance or even your own characteristic to look like the rest of them in order to join the group perfectly. In addition, my own experience supports my statement a lot. I used to be lazy in studying and never dreamed of good marks. My parents complained about my result all the time and forced me to study much more. I had many friends and they were all learn well at school. They set an example for me and I consciously knew that I had to work harder to catch up with my close friend. Since then, I have found it interesting to study and feel that it would be a great honor when you win a prize in an educational competition .Indeed, I have changed my attitude of studying thanks to the environment I lived in.
