Brian’s best character trait in Hatchet was his determination. Brain was determined because he had so many times where he could have just stopped, trying and gave up but he didn’t. One example of this is when he almost dies of a moose attack. The moose rammed Brain into a tree and pushed him under water multiple times. Although Brain suffered from many injures he still continued to hunt and make fire. The second example of how Brian was determined was when a tornado came by his shelter, and wiped everything out that he had, except for his hatchet. Brain then had to start all over to get what he had back . The last example of how Brian was determined is when he had to go underwater and get his hatchet that he dropped. He dropped his hatchet
