(Gud)
Over Ego=Hun har ikke set i 8 år. (Familie)

...Detective Dakota and The B-Bomb Scene One ! “Finally.” I said sighing with relief. The plane roared as it took it’s first steps into the sky. “It seems we are a little late, should I push tomorrows meeting to the day after?” said Mya Slava, my assistant. “No, I shall arrive on time. Wake me with my coffee two sugars and one milk Mya.” I mumbled sleepily. We had been at the Manchester airport for six hours before we got out flight and I was just about tired out. I had checked my pager then blacked out.! ! “Your coffee sir.” Mya hands me my coffee. I take a sip and scald my throat with the hot rich brown liquid. “I’m so sorry sir!” Mya exclaimed. She reached for some napkins and patted the coffee droplets away. I did not like the fact that I had been transferred to America. Tensions were high everywhere and being in one of the most populated states in a very hated country did not help my nerves. “Have a new suit brought to me freshly pressed Mya” I didn't mean to always be so bossy and harsh to the girl but she must learn early that being methodical and precise has its advantages. I paced around the room, my face a mask of curiosity, why had I been transferred here, I was doing just fine back in England. My lab needs me and there are no particular reasons I am aware of, that dictated the movement of Mya and myself. ! ! Fiorello H. LaGuardia Airport is not the most pleasant place. It combines many things that I find to make situations quite grueling. The bustled activity...

...Race Relations in The United States A Brief History Slavery begins in the southern B.N.A. colonies (now 1600’s known as the United States. As people come to the new world and begin large scale agriculture, they realize that they need a large, cheap workforce to work in the cotton and rice fields. They begin to purchase African slaves from slave traders. - 1776 Slavery is widespread and widely accepted in the 1600’s United States. Whites are given absolute power and authority over black slaves. (white men could not be held accountable for killing a black servant) white people believed that blacks were naturally inferior and were not capable of rational thought, theref ore should be treated as animals. - The colonies fought for and gained independence from 1776 Britain and became the United States of America. The newly formed country issued “The Declaration of Independence.” This document made it illegal for citizens to buy and sell slaves. However, although the Declaration outlawed the salve trade, slavery did not stop. Those still owning slaves could continue to practice slavery. - Conditions of A Slave: -Most slaves were given very little in the way of food or clothing by their masters. -Slaves worked long hours with very few breaks. -Slaves were often bought and sold and families were broken up. -Slaves who refused to comply with all orders were beaten and punished cruelly. 1836 The American Civil War ended with the Emancipation Proclamation. ...1. The Industrial Revolution was a period of time between the mid 18th century and the mid 19th century where dramatic and unprecedented changes happened in the English society. A feature that characterised this period in time included the introduction of new technologies which in turn caused social and economic issues. The Industrial Revolution made leaps and bounds in technological development. These technologies emerged between the 18th and 19th century, As England began to drift towards machine-based manufacturing. The introduction of steam power, the catalyst of the Industrial Revolution, led to steam machines being implemented in a wide array of machinery. Steam power replaced manual labour due to its cost efficiency, and this in turn developed into my next feature; transformation of English society. The technological innovation brought about in the British industrial revolution also brought about rapid social transformation. Population boomed as people flocked to urban centres to search for work. The working classes had to live in destitute conditions while children were forced to work. These changes in social realities created pressure for political change as well, with demands for labour rights and equality. Technological transformation in the Industrial Revolution also caused the economic development happening in England. With mass-industrialisation came an unprecedented growth in the economy of Great Britain, fostered by the development of steam machines...

...SUNDAY 13TH FEBRUARY, 1965 We arrived to the Home of the Wiradjuri people, Wellington. The bus trip was about one hour and the scenery was AMAZING! During the ride as a group we discussed about what we wanted to achieve and it was clear that the majority of us aimed to bring attention to the poor state and lack of Aboriginal health, their houses and the children’s education. I had a chat with Bob Gallagher and David Pepper (two of my good friends right now) and we felt that we strongly wanted to minimize the socially discriminated barriers which existed between the Aboriginals and the whites. Personally for me, this whole ‘Freedoms Riders’ hasn’t fully sunk into my head yet. Who knew at the age of nineteen, I would be given the chance to help make a change, so I guess this is a massive step for me, if not all of us. The first thing I noticed was that the town was overcrowded and congested. A large amount of the kids had eye diseases and the ground was three-quarters mud. The houses were made out of tin and the river was dirty and contaminated. I know I am a man but a few tears had slipped into my eyes seeing all this. It isn’t fair for these people to be here, especially these children. I thought the conditions in Orange were bad, but this was way worse. More people really need to get out here and see this for themselves. We conducted surveys with the Indigenous and non-indigenous people to find out what they thought about these living conditions. I could see that the racial...
