Running a business is no easy venture to handle. There are many aspects that people do not take into account. Conflicts occur daily in a business between the employees, management and even the clients they have. Decision-making is another aspect that can make or break a company. If the decisions being made are not strong and firm, then a company can fold easier than they opened. Future more, the organizational design is really important so that people understand how the company flows. These three factors along with many other key factors play a role in not only running a business but also running a business successfully. With these skills combined, one can achieve so much. Currently, I work for O2 Media Inc, a branded entertainment company. Our main focus is on several morning talk shows which air on Lifetime Television. In the year that I have been with the company I have learned a great deal. Negotiation strategies allows for successful business deals, evidence-based management allows the facts to be shown, with creative design and organizational design O2 Media is able to be creative in production.

For starters, being able to negotiate is a top skill to have as a member of O2 Media. Our show is a content driven show, which means, participants pay per segment to be apart of our show. The price range is anywhere from $10,00 for tips on our show to $750,000 to be a big sponsor. I work on a reality show that is new to the company called Mission Makeover. Our show deals with a wide range of participants, funds and topics therefore; using negotiation styles will only help benefit our programming team.
