The article analyzes common barriers to this kind of communication, and considers topics such as the implications of very broad target groups, expertto-layperson communication and the legislative introduction of mandatory genres as opposed to genres which have evolved naturally over time. The case of the patient package insert is outlined as a prototypical example of ‘public communication’ su¬ering from the problems brought about by the existence of these common barriers. Introduction Public documents have long been considered problematic and have attracted the interest of document designers and discourse analysts, not to mention entire movements such as the Plain English Movement. Numerous organizations, committees, and boards have been set up at national and international...

...permanent coloring, or more extensive services. Limitations

...In this task I will be explaining the laws that focus on protecting the customers when they are buying a product or service from things such as fraud and identity theft. There are several limitations and constraints in the consumer law that help the customers understand their legal rights and they protect them. Laws are constantly changing to ensure that businesses do not take advantage of their consumers. Sales of goods act 1979 This law states that; the goods must be fit for purpose, which means that for everyday purpose, and also for for any specific purpose that can be agreed with the seller at the time of purchase. The goods must also match any sample or images that are visible to the consumers, such as in brochures and leaflets also the description of the product must match the product. The goods that you buy must be in perfect working condition. An example of where the act has been broken could be; A seller who was a specialist in contemporary art and they offered a paining and this individual claimed it to be by the artist who was German. The buyer makes it clear that he was not an expert on German paintings; although the seller should examine the painting himself before putting the painting up for sale. The buyer brought the painting which later on turned out to be forgery which is in fact illegal. The court of appeal held that he could not cover his purchase price from the seller since he had not relied on the description in making the purchase; therefore...

...Executive summary Business proposal The business that I have chosen to do will be a café business that will provide organic product only, the business will be called Pretty Baked. The reason why I have chosen this name is because I want to have a name that is fun to read as this way there is a high chance that people will remember my business name. The main idea of this business is to have a cake café for everyone to sit down with their friends or family to relax and talk while having freshly baked cakes (see appendix 1), croissant (chocolate and butter) a cup of coffee (Flat white, Cappuccino, Americano, Espresso), tea (traditional tea, earl grey) and other drinks such as hot chocolate. The business is based in the Marlow high street (see appendix 2 and 7) I believe that this is a good place to base my business because the high street is a very busy place also near the Marlow bridge so therefore there will be a high chance that I will have higher footfall compare to places outside the high street (see appendix 3 for Marlow population density and appendix 4 show the total population of Marlow from 2010 to 2013). Furthermore the café will be opening at 7 A.M. in the morning until 5 P.M. in the evening, however, on a Sunday the shop will be open later at 10 A.M to 4 P.M. The reason why I have chosen these specific times is because I will be able to maximise the amount of customers as the café will be open during the morning rush hour. This time is normally when people are going...
