NATURE OF BUSINESS

Chocolate Panaderia will be a partnership form of business that will provide a wide variety of chocolate desserts and drinks as well as entertainment. Our target market will be chocolate lovers i.e. we will target people from almost all age groups who love chocolate products. Basically our business idea is to introduce a new style of bakery in
Rawalpindi and Islamabad. The bar inside the bakery will differentiate us against our competitors. And on later stages we plan to open our venture in universities on discounted rates in which the employment will be of the students as there are not much part time job opportunities. This is another factor which distinguishes us from our competitors.
FINANCING

The initial financing will be done through personal saving and loan from family and friends since we own the venue for the Panaderia therefore we do not feel the need for debt financing at least in the beginning

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Chocolate Panaderia will be a new organic bakery and bar specializing in chocolate. It can loosely be described as a quick-service cafe where customers can sit around a bar and watch their desserts being made. The show, as well as the dessert, will be our main selling point.
Chocolate Panaderia will hold true to its vision of being a new concept with an old fashioned feel in order to become a favorite spot for people of all ages. Saddar is an optimal location for launching a new bakery plus café since Saddar, Rawalpindi is one of the most busy locality.
By creating a new niche in the bakery and bar industry, Chocolate Panaderia has a philosophy of "nothing but the best" regarding both product and service, Chocolate Panaderia will establish itself as an exceptional dessert café and bakery in This plan outlines our company concept, and philosophy.
The objective of Chocolate Panaderia will be:
• Attain sales of Rs 300, 000 in the first year.
• Increase second year sales by 50% and third year by 30%.
• Open a branch in Islamabad by the third year of business.
Chocolate Panaderia will be a hospitality bar & bakery dedicated to providing high-quality desserts in a comfortable atmosphere for clients who seek a fun "gourmet" experience outside restaurants. We intend to make enough profit to generate a fair return for our investment and to finance continued growth and development in quality products. We will also maintain a friendly, fair, and creative work environment, which respects diversity, new ideas, and hard work. Dedication to the finest quality ingredients and "make it happen no matter what" customer services, ongoing employee education and recognition programs and giving back to the community will be our key to success.
Chocolate Panaderia will be a chocolate dessert bar concept. it emphasizes handmade chocolate desserts in a casual atmosphere. Watching your dessert be prepared right in front of you is the unique selling point of our business.

INDUSTRY ANAYLSIS
FUTURE OUTLOOK AND TRENDS

Desserts have always been popular in our society; let it be Kheer or a German chocolate cake. The city of Rawalpindi lacks good bars; therefore we want to provide the residents of Rawalpindi with a high quality bakery plus a bar where people can feel free to walk in with their family and friends.

There’s a great scope for a specialized bakery plus bar today. Many eating places have been opened in Rawalpindi that is running successfully
MARKET SEGMENTATION
Our market is divided into four different psychographics: white collar workers, celebrators, chocolate lovers & the diet craze group. White collar workers who are driven by success and prestige yet miss homemade comfort foods of their childhood. They may stop in on their own or bring clients in for a hot chocolate dessert experience.Celebrators is just that - people celebrating special occasions. Birthday, anniversary, graduation, valentine's day, etc., families and loved ones will gather at Chocolate Panaderia.
TARGET MARKET SEGMENT STRATEGY
We will specifically target segments of people with an appreciation for delicious desserts and a need for comfort and relaxation. Chocolate Panaderia will be haven for the busy & successful who want to treat themselves to something soothing and a little sinful! It doesn't take a lot of time, yet is so rewarding. These people will value the high quality product presented without pretension. Our customers will also appreciate the fun and fast service - whether celebrating a birthday or stopping in before going to a meeting.
SERVICE BUSINESS ANAYLSIS
Chocolate Panaderia is creating a new niche in the food service industry; we do share similarities, and therefore compete with several kinds of quick-service dessert businesses:
• Restaurants: any restaurant offering desserts.
• Bakeries
• Cafes
COMPETITION AND BUYING PATTERNS
Although Chocolate Panaderia is opening up a new niche in the food industry, there is no doubt that we are competing with a variety of similar businesses. We need to compete against the ideas that dessert is something that only follows a special dinner and needn’t be any better than a frozen cake. We want every day to be a reason to celebrate. And being able to watch your chocolate dessert be prepared by a chef is a treat that appeals to everyone. Price being the main factor when competing against other bakeries, we believe customers will be willing to spend a little extra for an extraordinary dessert in a warm and friendly setting.
The comfort factor also plays an important role in consumer decisions about desserts. Both the atmosphere and staff of Chocolate Panaderia excel at warm & friendly. We will use the highest quality products; sometimes paring the ordinary with the exotic, but we will always present our desserts in a unintimidating manner.

COMPETITORS ANALYSIS
Our main competitors are as follows:
Competitors Logos
Gelato Affairs

Masooms Café XO

Hot Spot

Kitchen cuisine

Our other competitors are; • Rahat bakery
• Restaurants and cafes that offer desserts.
Our competitors have been in the market for a long time period and their product range is large, but in some cases the environment is not good. Chocolate Panaderia will offer a wide variety of chocolate desserts in an extremely comfortable and warm environment.
INDUSTRY AND MARKET FORCASTS

In the coming years we expect the market for chocolate desserts to grow like it has expanded in the past. We now see vanilla lovers switching to chocolate products because of innovation in taste and better quality. The market for chocolate products is growing year by year, now not only kids love chocolate desserts but their parents love them too. We conducted a small survey to estimate the future trends of chocolate desserts and concluded that more and more people today crave to have chocolate desserts since they are so irresistible.

...20 Reasons Why You Need a Business Plan Categories: * Business Planning 1. To prove that you’re serious about your business. A formal business plan is necessary to show all interested parties -- employees, investors, partners and yourself -- that you are committed to building the business. 2. To establish business milestones. The business plan should clearly lay out the long-term milestones that are most important to the success of your business. To paraphrase Guy Kawasaki, a milestone is something significant enough to come home and tell your spouse about (without boring him or her to death). Would you tell your spouse that you tweaked the company brochure? Probably not. But you'd certainly share the news that you launched your new website or reached $1M in annual revenues. 3. To better understand your competition. Creating the business plan forces you to analyze the competition. All companies have competition in the form of either direct or indirect competitors, and it is critical to understand your company's competitive advantages. 4. To better understand your customer. Why do they buy when they buy? Why don’t they when they don't? An in-depth customer analysis is essential to an effective business plan and to a successful business. 5. To enunciate previously unstated assumptions. The process of actually writing the business plan helps to bring previously "hidden" assumptions to the foreground. By writing them down and assessing them, you can test them and...

These decisions can be based on individual or group that is looking for an expansion or establishing of a business that is already existing. Since funds play a greater role in the expansion, good steps on the way to handle the available funds are essential. Shan company will engage in a stiff competition if it plans to go overseas, the slope of this competition will generally depend on the available financial aid and the overall expenditure to keep the firm’s survival in the long run, these decisions play a greater role in the clinching of the ever available market in the states. The use of cash flows, current variables that are already known and asset values can be well applied in the process of building a strong financial decision. In the process of determining future certainty, many businesses tend to rely on the extrapolated asset values; this will tend to determine if the business has funds to sustain it in the long run. Through a comprehensive status many businesses can end up evading financial obligations, this will help in the generation of profits and maintain a positive pillar in its solvent status. There are various ways that a company can increase its overall revenue.  The most common way for a public performing company is through shares or in the form of stock and bonds.  Bonds allow a company to take loans...

Business Plan

...20 Reasons Why You Need a Business Plan Written by Pete Kennedy Categories: * Business Planning 1. By writing them down and assessing...
