∴ 225 adalah nilai tengah dari data-data yang terurut.

Mode = 300
∴ Jumlah penjualan tinta yang paling sering muncul adalah 300 kg.

Mean = [pic] = 209.23
∴ Rata-rata jumlah penjualan tinta per pekan adalah 209.23 kg.

MEASURE OF VARIABILITY

Range = max – min = 450 – 0 = 450

Interquartile Range = Q3 – Q1 = 300 – 100 = 200

Standard Deviation = [pic] = 116.01

Variance = S2 = 116.012 = 13458.32

Analisis:
Standard Deviasi dari kumpulan data penjualan tinta ini relatif besar karena data yang ada terlalu heterogen. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penjualan tinta per minggunya tidak stabil.
Bila dianalisis, pada awal tahun penjualan tinta masih sedikit, hal ini terjadi karena tinta P 113 C Yellow ini adalah proyek baru di akhir 2012.
Pada minggu ke-32, penjualan turun drastis hingga 0, hal ini terjadi karena tidak ada proses produksi pada libur Hari Idul Fitri 1434 H.
Di akhir bulan September, penjualan meningkat karena customer ingin memperbanyak stock tintanya untuk menghindari spekulasi kenaikan harga pada Q3 tahun 2013.
Sedangkan pada bulan Desember, penjualan relatif sedikit dibandingkan bulan lainnya. Hal ini terjadi karena terdapat masalah internal pada customer.

Selain itu, ketidakstabilan penjualan juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor end customer dan kompetitor.

(perhitungan menggunakan function pada MS Excel)
∴ Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kurva frekuensi distribusi memiliki ekor yang lebih memanjang ke kiri (menceng kiri).

Kurtosis = -0.94
(perhitungan menggunakan function pada MS Excel)
∴ Dari data ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kurva distribusi tergolong platikurtik atau lebih datar dibandingkan dengan distribusi normal (nilai kurtosis distribusi normal = 3).
