Acknowledgement

Making a research proposal is such a thing of pleasure. But doing this is also a tough thing. This is an integration of different types of tasks the accomplishment of which would not have been possible without the wholehearted assistance of some people whose debt I won’t be able to express in mere words because while doing this assignment I faced some problems and with the help of those people I overcame those problems. For that, I am really grateful to some of my friend who gave me some knowledge about the topic but individually I do my assignment. And I want to acknowledge my gratitude to them.
First of all I would like to thank the almighty Allah who has given me the required knowledge and the power to finish this assignment.
Secondly I would like to thank the course instructor Md. Moniruzzaman Khan as well. I am also very grateful to them because you instructed me to the right way to complete a difficult task and their dynamic teaching method & earnest instruction made it possible for me to complete this work successfully within the stipulated time .Without their great support I could not do whatever I have done.

Abstract
Purpose:

Our main purpose of the research is to find out the problem of the customer and according to the problems we will take some necessary stapes to increase the satisfaction level of the customers by providing some incentives and promotional through out the customers. We hope so, we will get the best output from the research that was conducted by us.

Background

We want to see the satisfaction level of the customer about Nescafe. Form the previous observation we have got so many information regarding the topic. We want to conduct a research rigorously over the population based on the sample. This is not the first research on the topic, there are some existing research are available on the topic. As everything is limited so our research is going to be limited. The research will be conducted individually through out the semester. We have selected Dhanmondi are to conduct the study. According to the purpose of our research we are going to provide questionnaire toward the customer for their feedback about Close up”. And this total task will do by me, so there is no issue how I conduct others. We decided by I will take 10 customer per day to take the interview and 5 customer will be females and 5 males. And total questionnaire is 50. Total sample also 50. We think these 50 samples will be representative sub set of the population. We will not select the sample as our wish we will select the sample randomly. We will try to cover all classes of the customer form the selected area. Scope:

I will engage in particular observation over four week period, form 20 March to 30 March for approximately 2 hours per week. I will observe the super shops customer in the evening but sometimes it might be change due to it is individual research. I will maintain my convenient time.

Objectives and aims

* Overall objective

Our core objective to conduct of the research to find out “the customer satisfaction of the Close up” * Specific objectives * The loyalty of the customer. * How spontaneously customers are using Close up. * Which type of customer like to use Close up. . * How much they are agreeing to pay for the Close up. * Why they like to use Close up. * Profitability of the Close up.

Research design and methods

Population and study sample

As it is applied research on specific issue of Nescafe. So we have to consider population to continue the research. It is the requirement of Business Research Method, so we can not consider entire population of a locality. More than that we select a particular place in the Dhaka city to observe the population. Our selected place is at in Dhanmondi. Our population is entire people at the Dhanmondi as well as in the Dhaka city. Compare with other research, our research is size is small. Overall of the population of the Shankar we selected 50 people as our target sample. We mostly select the educated people as like as university students, service holder, banker, business men, and home makers.

Sample size and selection of sample

Most of the facts are limited for preparing the report. As like as money, time, respondent, availability of information, lack of knowledge, etc. Considering all of the facts, we reached the decision that we will take at least 50 samples among the population. Furthermore, all of the sample will be selected randomly. Male and female ratio will be 5:5.

Sources of Data

To complete the research we will use both primary and secondary sources of data. But mainly we focus on primary data. Without any question it is acceptable that primary data is more reliable and foremost for any kind of research. In the whole research we mainly depend on primary data. To fulfill our demand sometimes we also use secondary data as supportive.

Collection of Data

Data collection is the most crucial matter in all time for any types of research. We will invest so many times to collect the data from the field. In the evening me and some of my friends got down to collect the data form the mass people. First we will talk with the respondent about themselves, and then we will raise our objective. We will not insist any interviewee; rather we can talk with them very humbly about our research. After convening the interviewee then we will send them our questionnaire. We use door to door data collection method by providing questionnaire toward the respondents. If it will possible then we will try to provide some gifts to the respondents.

Data Management

First we just collect the raw data without any kinds of processing. After collecting the data we will keep all of the data into the computer for further processing. To manage the data we can use digital camera, pen drive, hard disc, laptop, mobile phone, and computer, etc.

Data analysis Strategy

The last part of data collection is “data analysis strategy”. The world is treated as technology based world. Everything is moving so quickly due to transportation and technology. Modern technology helps us to complete our task with in very few times. It is not possible to get the correct result of the information without processing data. After collecting the data we will use Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). First we provide the input into the SPSS and then one by one we will complete our tasks. To get the support we might use MS excel as well as MS word. Form the SPSS we will cover this kinds of tools.

* Mean * Median * Mode * Frequency * Cross table * Standard deviation * Hypothesis * Variance * Correlation * Coefficient * ANOVA * One sample test * Regression

Strengths and Weaknesses

Strengths
There are some strengths of the research. We hope so it will provide us the best result according to our data and information and processing systems. We will learn a lot of things form the research, which will be help full in the next future. Truly a research provides a vast of proper and real knowledge to all of the people. This research has made an amazing time to communicate with other especially unknown people, which is very much important for all of the people. The core think is that we have learn from the research that how to conduct a standard research. We were keep in tough with our supervisor so that we do not face that much of difficulties.

Weaknesses

As we are students it is natural and very obvious that some mistakes will be available in the whole research and report. There so many weaknesses are there when we were conducting the research. These weaknesses are lack of proper knowledge particularly for research, lack of proper communication knowledge, lack of time, poor amount of money, it is quiet tough to get the enough interviewee, reluctant of both interviewer and interviewee, there were not sufficient information regarding to the topic, and a little bit shortage of direction. Interesting matter is that, although there are so many lacking, after all we try to overcome all of these barriers.

Timeframes

We can not expect better output form a research without maintaining the time table. We are going to mention our timetable according to our research. It is tentative timetable for the entire research. But we are firmly committed that we will try our best to maintain our timetable strictly. We decorate our timetable like this way,

Anticipated Time Schedule: WeekEvents | 1st(starts) | 2nd | 3rd | 4th | 5th | 6th | 7th | 8th | 9th | 10th | 11th | 12th | Topic Selection | * | | | | | | | | | | | | Literature Review | | | | | | | | | | | | | Preparation& submission ofproposal | | | | | | | | | | | | | QuestionnaireDevelopment | | | | | | | | | | | | | Data collection | | | | | | | | | | | | | Data analysis | | | | | | | | | | | | | Drafting & Editing of Report | | | | | | | | | | | | | Proof Reading | | | | | | | | | | | | | Printing | | | | | | | | | | | | | Binding | | | | | | | | | | | | | Submission ofReport | | | | | | | | | | | | | Presentation | | | | | | | | | | | | |

Appendix: Questionnaire

...The Business Enterprise 1.) Discuss the common elements described in the theories/philosophies of Case, Kouzes, and Drucker including how their principles/strategies relate to the new definition of entrepreneurial leadership presented in Understanding Entrepreneurial Leadership in today’s Dynamic Markets. Case, Kouzes and Drucker each have good theories and philosophies on entrepreneurship and leadership. Each had different ways of stating what they thought made a good entrepreneur but for the most part focus on some of the same things and agreed that with the right balance of these characteristics then succeeding, as an entrepreneur would be possible. One of the common elements that each focused on was people. Interaction with people is important when it comes to entrepreneurship and leadership skills according to Case, Kouzes, and Drucker. Each inferred that if a person does not have people skills, then the person would not succeed as an entrepreneur or a leader. People skills would be the ability to motivate others and interact. A leader cannot lead without being able to interact with people. Starting a business requires interaction with people on some level. Another common element that they all thought were important was not being afraid to take risk. Taking a risk in order to monopolize an industry to succeed is important. The definition of entrepreneurial leadership is one of an enterprising, transformational leader who operates in a dynamic...

...Recording Transactions Keeping business records accurate and up to date is important for the smooth running of a business. The business owner must record all of the money coming into the business from successful sales of the product and all of the money going out, such as expenses including money owed for storage, wages that are paid and money to purchase the stock. If a business fails to do this it may find itself not chasing payments, forgetting to pay bills or, even in trouble with HM Revenue and Customs. If the business does not record its transactions correctly, it cannot report its financial performance accurately and therefore tax payments may be wrong. By recording the sales made, the business owner is given a clear indication of what’s popular and so it becomes clear what products should have increased stock or altered price. In your case, it is very important that you monitor your sales as a new business will most likely not make any profit straight away, so it’s vital to record your transactions so you are able to at least breakeven until more customers become aware of your business and you can start to make a profit. Furthermore, since you have negotiated a one month credit with a supplier, it is important to record your transactions so you know that you can repay the supplier after the month has passed and avoid any consequences. It would be beneficial to you if you could keep your credit supply as then you will have money coming in from your customers to then...

...The United States exists in a capitalistic economy meaning that private enterprise is based on fair competition, economic freedom, and private ownership therefore; business is the heartbeat of our economy. Everything from manufacturing, health care, sales, and agriculture involves business in some way. Businesses provide jobs and produce goods and services that we depend on every day (What Role Does Business Play in Our Economy..?). They pay state and federal taxes to the government on their services provided. The taxes paid by businesses and the people employed by them allow the government to function. Looking at businesses in this way you can clearly see that business is a pivotal part of the economy. Within our economy two types of business organizations exist: for-profit and nonprofit. A for-profit organization will produce goods or services in the hopes of making revenue off its products. Most organizations you think of today are probably a for-profit establishment. Organizations that are classified as not-for-profit or nonprofit often operate under the guise of the emotional appeal of compassion but can also become major economic engines. They are business like establishments but unlike a for-profit business, their primary goals do not include making monetary profits. For profit businesses operate to generate revenue under the idea to have more profit than loss at the end of the day. Unlike for- profit businesses, nonprofits are organizations that are classified...
