I – Develop and maintain business networks 1. How I have made my network
I made my network through the company I worked for called JNJ Fashions based in Seoul Korea. My role in the company is as a fashion buyer. I therefore had to make contact with international suppliers who were mainly based in China. I used the internet to conduct research and find the suppliers in china.
After contacting the suppliers via email, appointments were made for me to meet with them in China and inspect their products.

2. Network strategies to develop new networks
There are some ways I usually use for maintaining the networks. First of all, I give new members my introduction, sending emails to them. Follow up with meetings and regular email contacts to ensure they can supply the products and services. I tried to see them consistently at offline in conferences or other business functions. Thirdly, I add them on my social network services such as Facebook.
3. How to promote an organisation and its objectives When I introduced myself in networking event, most people could put attention on me even if it was a short time. In terms of offline meeting, I have met one of members in Connect Network. We could discuss what is going around us and what business aspect has changed in Brisbane. Despite being a student here, such conversation helps me catch up with Brisbane. Lastly, I use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to communicate. It is an easy way to see their status and thoughts.
4. Interpersonal skills to effectively develop network Generous Greetings: Be a sport and greet whenever you enter your organization or any other social event, it creates a cheerful and lively impression. In corporate offices, it is mandatory to do so, however, even if nobody else bothers to, you do it. Wish your colleagues, whenever there is an occasion, and if you work in a multi-cultural environment, make sure you exchange wishes. People would appreciate your respect and wisdom of thought.
Facial Expressions and Body Language: Reflect a positive image and attitude when talking or meeting people. Always keep a smile on your face, Yeah... it is worth a million dollars! Nobody likes a sulky, or a depressive and odd face. Stand and sit confidently, do not sulk or stand with a hunch. Stop twiddling with your hair, toe-tapping and fidgeting, maintain a decent body language. Make eye contact whenever you talk to somebody, it sure creates an impressive and confident mark.
Listen Actively: Be a good listener when anyone is talking to you. Show them it is valued and that you understand what they have to say. It creates a wiser ear of you to listen first. There will be more to communicate when you have captured the unspoken elements while listening with attention, rather than mere lip service.
Initiate Communication: Communication is the most important in our lives, and a mute attitude is very much like bad attitude. Do not feel shy or scared to initiate communication, always approach with a positive feeling. Have a clear, courteous and effective speech. Impressive communication portrays a matured and intelligent persona.
5. How to share information on new contacts normally, I shared my information with sharing my name card. Everytime, when i met buyers i gave my name card which includes my contact numbers, address and webpages. moreover, we shared our contract imformation via email and our client system on system.

6. Reasons to share new contact information New contact information is usually regarded as new resource, it is important that everyone is up to date. If I know new buyers who always bring new fashion items with reasonable price, I can connect with web site or email. our specific managing client system is useful and fast to reach to share the information with our customer. 7. List a minimum of 3 networks summary

II – Establish and maintain business relationships 1. professional contacts/ relationships I have thesedays people used to use thier mobile as a way to contact to people easily. it has free application to create community and share the information such as kakao talk, Whats app and LINE. it is easy to get to someone chatting and sharing photos with just mobile number. i always use these social network application to contact to people.
2. Explanation for their importance and trust one of the main advantage of the social networking application is fast, comfortable and cost less. also, it is suitable to storage the imformation and privacy. however, it can be brought lack of communication because we only can communicate as a typing within short time. sometimes it has limitaions- miss communication.
3. Challenges and solutions on healthy professional relationship One of the most difficult things to communicate with buyes in China. if we had lack of commucation, it brings wrong price point or faulty garments and order. due to these problems, we had to contact with our client regulary with clear communication. for example, double cheking our order list and examine sample stock via phone and email daily. 4. Scenario for communication breakdowns Communication breakdowns happen when sender and receiver do not understand what each other is talking about. it brings the problmes as i mentioned before. if we have fauly garments it has huge damage of our budget. when we decide to manufacture the item, we had to contact with variety suppliers which means we had to fix out everything from the frist stage of the manufacturing steps.
III – Promote the relationship
1. How to represent and promote myself i joined the workshop before to share the information and introduce ourselves. Before the network event , I studied how I can drive people who I have never met. However, it was first time for me to attend such event and then I remembered some bullet points in mind. First, I had to speak clearly with relaxed voice. Secondly, I had to consider their position. I also have to dress in a professional manner.
2. How to promote good PGIC image in presentation I will wear formal clothes to give clear and professional impression. Also, I will my business card to give my information.
3. Communication barriers
Barriers to communication|How can you overcome the barrier to ensure the relationship is promoted effectively?|
Different attitudes and values|I have to listen carefully and speak clearly and directly to the other person. And I need to ask questions and give feedback.|
Dismissing others’ concerns or point of view|At the same way toward different attitudes, I have to listen carefully and show that I’m aware of the other’s point of view. I may ask further questions.|

4. Feedback on your presentation skills First thing will be keep talking with people who I met clients for trade. Actually, We have been dinner party with clients and told any communication problem with business people. Second tip will to participate in any similar events frequently. So, I will find out if there are any upcoming network events. I always ask my colleagues and fellow students about my performance personally.
5. Monitor the effectiveness in promoting myself In any communication, the best feedback is the reaction from the receiver at the moment. Facial expression, tone of voice, and body languages are vital to drive good communication. Monitoring their emotional body language, I can measure how far I’m doing well in networking. 6. participating netwoking events and establish communication channels I have been participated fashion expo anually to meet retailer introdicing our product. also, we could meet fashion trend regurarly. throught the presentaion we explained our marketing strategy and benefit of our special product. after then we concetrate to promote with participating event and sent email to manage our clients continaully.
