Lemons Heads Lemonade Stand

Thaddeus Tolbert

Devry University

INTRODUCTION
Lemons Head is a locally owned and provides the highest quality lemonade to our customers. We buy the best fresh Lemon on the market. Our lemonade will also come in different flavors such as raspberry, strawberry, and peach. One of Lemon Heads main goal is to create good quality products and sell them for reasonable cheap price.
BRANDING STRATEGY
Lemons heads has a great chance to be one of the best lemonade stand or franchising. Hopefully in the future we can expansion and hit the market with a have a franchising opportunities. Also I would like to work with retailer stores like as Walmart, Abertson, Fry’s so I can sell my product in there store, but I can also start at the local moms and pops stores for a test run to see how my product sell before going to the big retailers, but this will allow Lemons head a much greater opportunity for the company to show its brand and for a great exposure.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR NEW LOCATIONS
Our stand is local at Westgate at a small booth, business has been extremely successful because of the area, we get a lot of business when there are sports events like the Cardinals and Coyales games going on. Lemon Heads is looking at opening up a new location in Tempe on Mills Ave. The area would be a perfect spot for a new stand. The Area is known for the popular spot for Arizona State University students. Our stand also needs to be in the area on Mills Ave that will attract a big large amount of people. I think this area would also bring in big business, if we can do good at Tempe I can see this company doing big things in the market.

PROMOTION PLANS I know my stand is not on a big marketing and advertising budgets. I know as a business owner we have to be careful with our money. It is very important for us to understand the customers wants and likes. Lemon Heads will have a mix of broadcast, internet, and newspapers advertising. I’ll set a budget of $3,000 for broadcast , $3,000 for a local newspaper and $4,000 for TV ad (Bovee & John, 2012, p. 306) .
EMPLOYEE TRAINING
At Lemons Heads we will not have that many employees, but once business starts to boom we will hire six employees. One of the key things of motivation within Lemon Heads is to find employees who share the overall drive as me and want to see the company grow. Therefore it is important that our employees know their job and be expert in their job. With the extra effort involved with the company employees will be paid good pay, also may offer a little part of the company if we as companies grow into a big franchise company. An employee that is always a motivated will give the best customer service.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, Lemons Heads will be a big time investment opportunity from the ground up , but will also have a chance for expansion in the future. I know it will not be easy, but with the Theory Y mindset it will truly make everything easy.

Intro to Business and Technology

...Lucia Gibson Week 1 Homework BUSN-115 Professor Tammy Green November 3, 2013 1. Which economic system is best suited for handling a crisis of epic proportion (hurricane, flood, blizzard, forest fire, and so forth)? Why? In my opinion, the economic system best suited for handling a crisis of epic proportion is the free-market capitalistic system. The reason I picked this system over the others is that the government has access to many resources, businesses will give aid, and generally people will do a lot to help. The government counts on the military and the Coast Guard to perform the rescue efforts and provide security for the people affected. Generally, capitalistic systems have more access to monetary funds to help the affected areas rebuild and provide basic needs to the citizens impacted. Besides the aid that the government can provide there are many businesses that will use their own resources to handle crisis. Many businesses will make monetary contributions to non-profit organizations, such as the Red Cross, to help with the relief efforts. The government can also hire businesses have more knowledge on how to better restore areas. The public as a whole is more willing to rebuild what was lost since it impacts everyone’s life. People are also more inclined to send donations, whether it is monetary or by sending supplies, to the people affected. Most people will not just wait for the government to fix everything; they are more willing to pitch in and......
