As it happens, a memorial built in the style of the classic garden of the Tang Dynasty stands today in the Zhongba Town of Jiangyou, commemorating Li Bai and the town in which he was raised. Figurative language is used in any form of communication, such as in daily conversation, articles in newspaper, advertisements, novels, poems, etc. The effectiveness of figurative language in four main reasons, Perrine (1982) First, figurative language affords readers imaginative pleasure of literary works.
