Executive Summary
When considering a career path, one can feel overwhelmed by the various choices. In order to narrow down the choices, some well-meaning friend will tell you, “do what you love”, while another will say, “choose a career that will pay a lot of money”. These cause conflict in an individual’s career pathway. Some individual would prefer working for a good pay career rather than working for a job which satisfies them and make them happy. In vice versa, there are individuals who work on what they love to do and not for the money. There have been research which was done by Handerson on year 2011; he stated that people whom work they love to do have prosper in terms on money as well as happiness. It might be a late start but yet it profits at the end of the day. There are some people whom work for money, gets frustrated at one point of time on their life and lives an unhealthy lifestyle despite having money.
Introduction
In life there are three stages which determine the career pathway of an individual. Based on that, the stages are, childhood, teenager life and as well as adulthood. Career pathway starts from teenager life itself. From then, it moves on to the adulthood whereby that’s the time an individual would implement what is learned on teenager life to a real working life. That is when exactly it moves on to career pathway of a person. Career pathway is a pathway for a new movement in life. It’s a huge decision making term for an individual. A person shouldn’t make a wrong choice at that point of time, or the individual should be able to rectify it Main discussion
Career pathway starts from teenager life, which means parents plays an important role on it. Parents usually wants their children to be in a good position which most commonly, Doctors, Lawyers, and Engineers. If a teenager ever told their parent that he or she wanted to become an artist, they would get the crazy look back from parents. Back then as a teenager, one did not really understand why parents said that, but when the time comes that one has to deal with the own bills and expenses, they see the reasons why. Those career paths guaranteed you a job that gives sufficient money to cover one’s adult expenses. Since then though, things have changed and more career paths are now being accepted thanks to technology boosting some careers such as music and movies.
Ever heard people say – If I had more money…I could go for T.G.I. Friday or buy a new car and more on. Money does not directly make anyone happy but doing all these buying new car and rest makes the person happy. I think money does have a great input to one’s happiness and here is my reason why: Money solves many problems – a place to live, food to eat, clothes to wear, transportation, presents for loved ones, treatment at hospitals, etc. People are generally unhappy because they have problems that in many cases require money to solve. So if people make sufficient money to solve most of their problems, then they would generally be happier people.
On the flip side, people whom not making sufficient money generally have to work longer hours to keep up with their bills and end up giving up time with their family and spending less time doing things they love which ultimately leads to unhappiness.
One other thing I realized is although one may pick a career choice for money reasons that is not their passion, they could ultimately make enough money to pursue their passion later on in life which is very true.

Carrer Plan

...My Career Plan Kimberly Leach 10/17/13 The University of Phoenix has many tools available. The tool I used recently was in the career builder and in the section of competencies. By using this tool if found I had a very high ability to adapting to change. To me this will help my critical thinking because I know how to look for many different types of media to look at when doing research. I think that being in classes that are only five weeks long means that I will be able to adapt a lot faster and get into the swing of things. I scored medium to high in all the other sections of the competencies. This means I can handle networking, organizing, strategizing, innovating, and delivering results in a good way. By not being at the highest point on the list lets me know there is always room for improvement. I think there is always a way to include all these skills in critical thinking. By doing that you can make sure you are getting all the information you need or will know where to find it. The quality of the work will then show how well you used each one of these skill sets. By knowing my competencies I can be able to make better arguments. A good point to make would be not backing down in what I choose to stand behind. Not just sounding passionate about something but being able to provide evidence to support what I am either writing about or sharing in another form will be very important. I will know I have used my critical thinking skills to provide a clear...

Carrer Project

...Personality and Career Assessment This project has really opened my eyes to the many opportunities that are out in the world that I just shut out because I think I need to be set on one profession right away. Although that is completely and utterly false, this was my wake up call to realize it is my freshman year in college and I don’t need to know these things right off the bat. Time needs to be taken to evaluate the different things that I can put my heart and soul into and really strive to do my best in. While taking the different types of assessment and test on MyPlan.com it was strange how accurate the results were of me, every single one came back and hit the nail on the head. I took the personal interests’ test, the personality test, and the skills profile test. Each of these tests gave me insight to things that I could look into as a career that would spark my interests. Anything in the medical field really interests me, which it has been that way ever since I can remember. While on the other hand I have recently been thinking about becoming a teacher then moving up into an administration job, such as Principal or Vice Principal. I’m interested in so many types of occupations, all which revolve around either meeting tons of new people, traveling, or both. People always say, “Do what you can see yourself doing for the rest of your life and be able to stay happy while doing that.” Although at this point in my life I can honestly see myself finding happiness...

Criminal Carrer

...Criminal Career The Compact Oxford English Dictionary the study of crime is defined as “an offense against an individual or the state which is punishable by law; such actions collectively; informal something shameful or deplorable”. Norms come in different forms; potentially criminal acts can be judged against formal moral systems, such as religious beliefs. Under certain circumstances some legally-defined crimes might not be unacceptable when judged against the norms, codes and conventions of socially-acceptable behavior. In other terms a crime is an act or behavior that violates or breaches the rule of political; moral or criminal laws and is liable for punishment and public prosecution. Increasing rate of unemployment is a possible major problem of increasing crime rate. No criminal is by birth a criminal but it is the circumstances which make him do it. High ambitions are also the one source for crime. A person who has high ambitions like if they want to enjoy all the comforts of life or want to achieve the high status in their life, they would want to complete them at any cost and any unfair means to fulfill their wish. To make their wishes come true or to enjoy the luxuries of life they can come in the way of crime, as it seems to be an easy direction of earning what they want. When they do act upon crime their first time, then the advantages of crime compel them to commit such acts again and again. Another important influence that has made crime at ease is...

When introduced to the learning style of the class, I wasn’t sure how or if the course would apply to my career. After a week or two, I began to understand the course is a contributor to my career. The profiles and readings provide fundamental knowledge to communicate and channel information effectively. Internalization and application of course material will build the strong relationships needed to succeed. Thinking style and the tools to debate an argument are critical to master career demands. Often, my job requires sitting in as a third party on complaint issues. Frequently, the complaint is reviewed prior, and opinions formulated. For example, patient hotlines daily; she has been to multiple facilities and causes disturbances frequently. Several managers have tried to resolve the conflict without success. Finally, I have a grievance meeting with the patient. My preconceived expectation is the...

...thoughts of a culture, a greater understanding of diversity in mankind and the collective thoughts of it. It is quite ironic the situation held now a days, since in the highest "classes" it is expected, if not an obligation, to be well educated in the arts and culture in general. Ironically, many of these people are the CEO's of big companies, which work with mathematics, statistics and calculus, and whose carreer was based on science. Of course, we may not generalize, but it is taken as a fact that it is harder in the field of humanities to find a stable job or that which is "well-paid". The conservative part of society takes a different approach, though; the easy way. Analyzing the facts, the easy but long road is studying an engineering carrer or medicine or law; but many times it isn't considered this way. Society fits these carreers with hard working people; when sometimes this is a forced decision and cowardy runs the...
