Formal teams are teams that are clearly structured with focus on specialty. By "structured" It mean that everyone has a rank; team members in a formal team are not thought of as equal: so you have a manager, you have the team leader, you have the developers (senior and junior), you have the artists, etc... The manager distributes the tasks to the team members based on their specialty
Informal teams
Is the team that is not structure whatsoever and they do not focus on specialty. There is no manager/leader; team members are completely equal in informal teams. Since there is no specialty, it means that any task done by one team member can be done any other team member as well

1-Clear Goals
This is necessary so that all team members understand the purpose and vision of the team. It is important to understand where the team is headed. People tend to support what they help to create. Team members who were involved in establishing the goals will work to achieve them.
2- Open and Clear Communication
This is one of the most important characteristics for high functioning teams. Problems that emerge in groups can often be traced back to communication problems. Effective communication will keep a team informed and focused. Communication “breakdowns” can often be attributed to poor listening skills. It’s important to focus on hearing the message before forming our own conclusions about the message. Distractions can prevent us from giving out full attention to the speaker
3. Effective Decision Making
Awareness of various decision making methods can help a team make efficient decisions.

This has built up the company’s policy to a success level. The key factor to their success is motivation, but to motivate others we need to motivate ourselves.
